Thanks for that Amy but mines a boy! I am bidding on an out fit for him on ebay! Ends the weekend and I WILL win it as I need to photo him for FB and his passport that I am going to cheekily ask you to do! lol
Got the build a bear hat and scarf set and tea set thingy from Argos today! Going to use the teaset case as a suitcase and then bring the cups out for a midnight picnic! At least that way this suitcase has no bears on it! Ooh I need to make a list of what the elf will do each night!!! EXCITED!!!:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!

he's only 6.5" tall so you should be able to make him a small bed from what you have. my 8" elf has the foot of an old stocking, and has xmas ribbon sewed round the top.
the other 2 both have "fancy organza" bottle bags as they have long legs.
the 4th doesnt have anything yet, but i do have loads of the white velvet from where "the elves" made kids stockings last year, so maybe "the elves" could make her a sleeping bag from it!due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:

i have just been on the elf name generator and my elf is called Tootsie Sugar-socks
I can't wait for him to come now so i can make his bed and sort a passport out.
Then i just need to sort of some things for him to get up to, i thought of something really good the other day and i knew i should have wrote it down cos i can't for the life of me remember what it was!
I won't have time for him to come everyday but i really want to make an effort this year.
may do a fb page or blog for him.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -
I stumbled upon this thread earlier this morning and have spent the ENTIRE day, reading it and its links and looking for an elf for us.
Thank you yummy-mummy-amy for the ebay link to the little gund ones...I bought one too and the name generator has just named him Tootsie Crazy-Legs
I have 2 boys at the moment and am pregnant with a girl-due in January.I was thinking earlier of having a girl come (coz Santa wants the boys to get used to having a girl in the house).Im sure the name will pass for a girl but will the doll?0 -
Thanks Lexuslass for volunteering to take the Christmas Card lists. I would have done it, but I'm busy with the thrifty money thread.
Shall I pm you now, or do you want me to do it closer to the time?I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
