WOW!!! i have finally finished reading all the posts and my head is buzzing!! I have decided to join in the christmas fun and get an elf this year. Very nervous and hope I get it right lol
Can you give me any ideas of where to get an elf (boy) and where the name generator is please.
Thanks x
hi,
search ebay and amazon, type all sorts - elf, pixie, gnome, etc i have aurora rag doll as 1 of my boys. i read when i 1st started that elves come in all shapes and sizes etc not just small with pointy ears in red/green. some people have a magic reindeer, bear and 1 family on facebook last year had a dog (was a puppy that santa didnt have time to look after near xmas!)
you dont have to use name generator just think of a name yourself. i dont know the exact link but if you google elf name generator there's a few. xdue to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:

hi its actually cheaper to get them shipped from USA - for 2 from the uk site with postage is £20, from ebay/USA its only £12 with shipping. xdue to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:

You only incur customs charges on items over $40 and the rate of post checked coming from the US is 1 in 60;)
I order quite a lot of my sugarcraft equipment from the states because once you've exchanged currency its much cheaper...and the longest Ive waited was my last rather large purchase (a silicon mat rolled into a tube that measured 30") and it "only" took 3 weeks.0 -

Thankyou SO much for this!! We already have an Elf but wanted him to come with a girlfriend / wife this year. I've managed to get the girl Gund Elf from Dragon Alley (18cm high) for £8.94 delivered!!
Thanks! :beer:Gifts of time and love are surely the basic ingredients of a truly merry Christmas."

Hellooooo:)
It's been ages since I've been on here, nice to see the thread still going strong! Welcome to any new elves/owners arriving for the first time, nice to see you! Good to see some of the old faces too:D
Well, I haven't really thought about our elves at all over the spring/summer, but as Christmas is suddenly looming, I thought I'd better start getting some ideas ready!
Just checked in with my elves blog and facebook, which had been sadly neglected, and seen lots of new friend requests, *waves hello* if they belong to anyone from here:)
I hope to come on here regularly now in the build up to December, as I really don't want to leave all the planning to the last minute!
Hope everyone and their elves are well! Haven't looked back over the thread to see what I've missed, but will try and catch up some time!

Hello! can we join in? Have just ordered http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/14-Aurora-Rag-Doll-XMAS-ELF-BOY-CHRISTMAS-Soft-Toy-NEW-/290612049253?pt=UK_Soft_Toys_Bears&hash=item43a9d3f565 for my 7 and (will be) 5 year old kids. He can be a real little bu*ger in our house and get up to all sorts of mischief. He will arrive with tickets for the Panto as well as a " can I stay present"! I am soooo excited about Xmas this year and am even making the kids sock monkeys for their Xmas Eve Hamper!!
Having just spent this money....I am right in thinking Santa sends the same one to stay each year?!!?
Thankyou for the inspiration.
