  • Where would I get some christmas themed toilet paper, I have seen this on ebay but it seems quite expensive

I was thinking of maybe getting some thing similar to this too

the elves could add all this to the batchroon, and then be found having a bath?

the toilet roll is same as what i got in january but i paid half the price as in sale. BUT make sure you have some "luxury stuff" to hand as this stuff is very rough - think the old school loo roll and your not far off! but it will be fun to do.

the loo seat n mat are very cute.

I wanted to get Jingles a wife this year, but when it arrived I'd bought the matching girl but a hand puppet by mistake: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiesta-Santas-Secret-Elf-Puppets-Set-2-NEW-/120750267872?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c1d46dde0 DD is coming up to 9, so she'll tell the difference if I stuff the bottom up :(.

DD even mentioned it this morning - we're both getting excited. :j I can't wait to see what Idea's everyone comes up with this year. :D

can you not re-sell the puppet and buy another elf? how "elf like" do you need her to be? i have an aurora rag doll, that stands 12" high and is in a pinkk skirt and jacket, she was bought as my 4th elf as advertised as purple, arrived pink and seller was no longer on ebay! so i was stuck with a pink doll and i dont do pink anything!!! lol! would be willing to sell her.

Thanks for the offer Amy, but I just managed to buy another one :) - I think I'll have to ebay the other, as a puppet is no good to me. It might be good for people with little ones, but DD is 9 in January.

ETA: I know it sounds silly saying she's too old for puppets, when she still believes in Santa and Elves. ;)

    hi,

i have had elves stay for the past 4yrs. do as much or as little as you want to, and to a level your kids will understand.

choose your elfs name - some have 1st names, some 1st and surname, again your choice.

then you need a passport for it. and a letter from santa explaining who the elf is and that he thinks your son/daughter has behaved well enough to have a magical elf (or whatever you wish to put in letter). and something for it to sleep in (build bear sleeping bag/foot of old stocking etc)

THEN you need a plan of action....

.....when do you want the elf to arrive? 1st dec, half way through or only for 1week?

.....then you need to think will it just sit and watch the kids and make notes or will it do mischief?

.....depending on how long its coming for and what you want it to do (point 2) depends on what you need to think of doing and what you need (craft supplies, items to help with mischief (eg school - book bags and ties), sweets n treats for kids.

.....once you no all this your pretty much ready to go and have fun!

come back here and ask for help/advice and to swap ideas and stories and places selling cheap "supplies" etc.
