Hi, I think I have most of you on fb but my elves are called jollysunny fluffypaws (they are Jolly and Sunny but fb wouldnt let me add like that lol).
I have been neglecting their fb a little as im so caught up with my christmas crafting and so tired from this pregnancy I can only concentrate on one thing at a time lol.
My elves arrived today (as in the person I bought them from on ebay not arrived for the kids lol) adn I love them! My mum is knitting them a sleeping bag and pillow each and I got a gorgeous notebook that looks like its covered in snow. Bought the happy little elf dvd for them to bring.
I need ideas on how they arrive tho, any suggestions guys?Mummy to Leeland 5, Lakota 4, Lennox 1 and expecting non id twins March 2011.0 -
Oh my Goodness. Has anyone noticed how many elves are now on Facebook? Rosie Sparkle Pants and Robin-Stinky Elf have more friends than our whole family put together.
Just to let you all know that 'Our Elves' visit my TEENAGE children and get up to mischief and I still don't think they are too old really (13 and 15). The elves post silly things on the kids Facebook pages and leave messages for their friends and family and comment on thigs they 'just shouldn't'. My eldsest in in our local Panto and the elves go backstage with the cast. My youngest plays for the school football team and a local football team and they become mascots for the whole of December. Everyone loves the chance to get their photograph taken with them and look out for them on Facebook. Rogues Gallery. Eldest also goes to Girls Brigade and the elves always end up at all the Christmas Parties and outings.
So if you think your kids are getting too old you never know what fun they will bring to the household. Have fun and cause michief!0 -

Hi everyone!
I'm on a serious elf mission today ... want to get as much sorted as I can today as we get the keys to our new house on Monday so wont have much chance to do a great deal after.
Ok, the passport is almost sorted (thanks yummy-mummy-amy!)
I convienced OH that our elf was fine and cant have pointy ears as she has to blend in (thanks to who mentioned that before!) - I just need to sew on a bit of ribbon and decorate her fet (she will be called Twinkletoes so think she needs to have things on her feet lol!)
I have found an A4 pad at work that I will be able to use, planning on wrapped it in christmas paper and sticking a photo on the front of twinkletoes and thats about as far as my idea went - what do you do with your journals? Write in them each day/night about what they've been up to and show your LOs or do you just give it at the end when they leave?!
I am going to print out the list of activites and try and get what I can readym pics printed, cards bought for eldest LO to write- thank you for that, was a great idea to all be in one place.
I need to think of some kind of bed - I was planning on getting one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Christmas-Sacks-Personalised-/120642130278?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Celebrations_Occasions_ET&hash=item1c16d4d166 for her to arrive in and to double as her bed, do you think it'd be ok and hold the note book too hopefully.
What else could I be missing!?
TIA x0 -

bertie writes in the journal every day - if he has gone hiding he leaves clues, (my left hand becomes santa) and writes notes in it occassionally, he writes things he sees - like bedrooms are a mess and unless tidied there will be no treats, PLUS the kids are allowed to write notes in it for the elf! it comes on day with bertie and stays until he leaves when he takes it home with him, as he has ablog/diary his adventures go on that.
berties bed is the fooot of an old xmas stocking with gold ribbon on it, jingle-jhangle and merry have "posh sleeping bags" organza bottle bags!!! with snowflakes and such on.
check the 1st post of this thread - there are a few things that most of us take each year.due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:
