Does anyone know where I can get a cheap snowman from?
Ideally online but wouldn't be a disaster if I had to go to somewhere like wilkos if I had a tip off
Cheers in advance x

my snowman cost me 25p from a cherity shop - loads of em now have the xmas soft toys out.
rules - yes we do, they are stuck in the front of his journal:
*the elf is NOT a toy, therefore it cant be played with
*the elf can only be touched when an adult is present
*the elf needs to be put in his sleeping bag nea the chrstmas tree at night and needs his bag of magic snow put in with him
*the elf MUST be kept away from the dogs at all times or he will return to santa
*the elf needs a pinch of food on a plate every day
*on christmas eve, the elf and all its belongings need to be put in the kitchen for santa to find and take back to the north pole.due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:

To the person looking for a snowman, try Home Sense if you have one near you, I got my Girlchild one from there.
Suki and Jimmy (Snowtoes and Jingletoes respectively) are arriving on Sunday late afternoon. Has to be then as it's the only day my hubby can be home for sure with them as his hours are all over the place at the moment. Mr S is taking the twins to his mum's for the day really early on so we can have the day to put the big tree up in the living room and a smaller tree with LED presents on in the nursery and have a big tidy up and move some of their toys from the living room into the kitchen (for December) etc... etc....
Just before we go to pick them up, we will leave the tree lights on and I will tell Mr S to get in the car and warm it up. I will then slip back in and bring our elf and snowman down. They are in gorgeous silver shiny boxes with big bows on from Matalan under a blanket of lametta with cards I decorated with glitter and stars and reindeer with letters in explaining who they are and that they've come to stay. I found two sets of LED lights (about 30 on it) in Wilkinsons that are battery operated (they come with the battery in) that I am going to wind around the boxes to make them look even prettier and place them on the floor in front of the tree.
In the box with them are advent calendars and a book each (Gruffalo magnet book for Girlchild and Trains, Planes and Trucks for Boychild). Mr S STILL does not know a THING about this! :rotfl:
Can't WAAAAAIIIIIITTT!

I can't wait either!!!! :j
I was planning on our elves arriving on wednesday (1st) on the advent calender trains.... we are going to get our tree tomorrow:j :j so am now in two minds whether the elves should arrive over the weekend..
it makes sense in the fact that we will have a lot more time than we would on wednesday as OH will be off to work, eldest DD will be off to school (she is 11 but loves 'assisting' with the elves for the two little ones) and DS will be off to nursery.
decisions, decisions!!!

I hope your girl shows up for you Amy. This happened to us a few years ago and it felt like I had lost one of my children.:(
On a elf note I managed to buy some rainbow drops to use as elf poop as I know my 8 yr old son will really like it if the elf isn't housetrained and I can't wait to see his face when I try a bite of it.:D0 -

Sparkly Glitter-Toes has just arrived via parcel force!!
What a naughty little elf she is, she blamed Rudolph for eating her passport, so Santa has had to remove her lovely hat and shoes as punishment but because she had already been promised to have some fun with a family he has allowed her to keep to the plans! He has said that he may magically return her hat and shoes if she behaves whilst on 'holiday'0
