all 3 of my boys (including 1yr old) have FB accounts - BUT this was due to me needing neighbours for a game. the 8 and 5yr oldare allowed on at weekends on my laptop to tend their farms but that is it. the only people they have as friends are me and OH, my sis, their 2 godmothers and a close friend - all who play the game.due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:

Tomorrow is elf planning day, I am so excited! Going to dig out the xmas craft books and start getting things gathered and ready so that I don't have to rush about like a muppet during December!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0

My daughter wants FB to 'talk' with her friends and make new ones, most of her class friends have one, but they have been up to all sorts on it (sending rude messages to parents!) If she would stick to playing games then I wouldnt mind, but she is so easily influenced that I know she would do what her friends told her to do. I pay for her to have club pengiun membership, she can talk to the penguins:rotfl:

I can't wait for our Elf Merry to return this year. Ds2 noticed the advent calenders in Tesco yesterday and said " Don't worry Mum Merry will bring us those. ":D I was quite surprised he remembered as he was only 3 last year. We got the journal out from last year at bedtime and had a read through it and now Ds2 is so excited. Mind you i am too it's such good fun. :jOH asked if maybe Merry could stay this time but i think that would take away some of the excitement.0

Hi Elfy Friends !!
Sorry havent been around much recently. Was just starting to think about christmas and then realised that Snowy is due to turn up in less than 10 days and thought aaaarrrrgggghhhh i need to start getting things sorted.
So i have now made Snowys journal, typed the letter to acompany her when she arrives and as soon as DD goes to bed i will get her little bag all packed and find all the bits and peices i have bought.
Yummy-Mummy-Amy would love to send some xmas cards - will PM you, anyone else that wants to swap cards with Snowy please PM me to swap addresses etc.
Can't wait for the fun to begin :j
For any one that is interested her is a copy of the letter from Father Christmas.
Dear Emily,
Thank you very much for the lovely letter you wrote me, it was one of the first I received and certainly the most prettiest with all your lovely drawings. You certainly are a very good drawer. Your writing is also very good and I can’t believe you are only 4 years old. I showed your letter to Mrs Claus and Rudolph and they were very impressed.
Now Emily, I have a very big favour to ask you and I am hoping you will help me out with something. We have been super organised in the toy workshop this year and the toys and presents for all the children have all been made and wrapped and ready to load up onto my sleigh ready to deliver on the 24th December. All the elves have worked really hard this year and I promised them that if the work was all finished really quickly and few special elves would be chosen to go on an adventure.
You will by now have already met my special elf Snowy Sugar Plum, she is one of the elfs chosen to go on an adventure. Most of my elves have never been away from the North Pole and have never met any children and I was hoping you would let her stay with you, to show her around and introduce her to all your friends. Maybe you could take Snowy to nursery with you and let her meet all your teachers and friends. Maybe if your Mummy and Daddy take you on any special outings you could take Snowy with you too.
Snowy will be staying with you until the 24th December and will return to the North Pole with me when I come to deliver presents to you.
Snowy has come with her own holiday journal and I am hoping that you and your mummy and daddy will help to record all the things you get up to with her so she can show all her elf friends when she gets back to the North Pole.
I must give you a word of warning that elves are sometimes rather mischievous and naughty. Snowy has promised that she will be on her best behaviour but in case she does get up to any naughtiness you can write this in her holiday journal so I can see how she has behaved during her adventure.
Thank you very much for agreeing to look after Snowy and I hope you both have a lovely time.
Lots of love,
Father Christmas
