    Well done!

Are you selling the bath bombs on ebay?

I think the chocolate truffles will need a lot of test runs. ;) Yum!

Just been having a look on ebay for bath bomb stuff, what's the best (and cheapest) way to start?

  • Just selling the bombs round people at work, down the pub etc at the moment.... might think about Ebay nearer to Christmas though...

  • Gargoyle - have a look at post #6 on this thread.... tells you how to make the bath bombs and all you need to make them.... probably best to buy all the bits separately.....

I'm not sure where is the cheapest but I bought all my bits and pieces from http://www.meltandpoursupplies.com/ watch out because they add vat and delivery on at the end but if you order quite a bit I think it works out at not bad value (compared to lots of p&p from various suppliers on Ebay).

    Hope this helps.

Have a look at https://www.justasoap.co.uk their prices are considerably lower on the kits. The contents does vary a little but I compared a 30ish bath bomb kit from the two sites and the price difference was about £15... quite a difference... (£19 inc p&p vs £34 inc p&p)

You get some extra petals and moulds but if it's your first attempt at making bath bombs I'd go with the simpler kit... :)

Can I just ask where you all get your baskets from? I wondered about doing hampers for my nieces and thought about butting them in faux leather boxes. Any ideas where I could get cheap ones?
  • Could someone tell me how to make sloe gin please?

It's basically sloes, gin and sugar, about 2lb sloes to 1 bag of sugar and 1 2 bottles of gin, less sugar or more sloes to taste.
