This is a picture of a present I made for a colleague as a leaving present last year, and this is it upwrapped. It is a variation of the chocolate themed mugs. It had a teaspoon with some ribbon in a bow, a lollipop, some hot chocolate sachets, and some bars of chocolate. It looked really cool. :A
I like the idea of the chocolate slabs. :drool:0 -
My parents are elderly, and are a nightmare to buy for, but they enjoy watching birds (feathered!!) from the kitchen window.
So this year as part of their present I'm going to make:
'Fat balls' -similar to a Soap on a Rope-to hang on their bird table.
Couple of bags of bird seed from market
Bird book-free giveaway from RSPB
2 Small feeding containers- 2 for £1.00 in Pound Shop.
and
Put it all in a bowl, bought for 30p at a boot sale, which can be used for water for birds.:j0 -
FYI, don't bother buying bird seed from the pet shop (£1.50 a kg??? Highway robbery!) ask for poultry corn, which is about 55p/kg, and the birds still eat it0

I was really struggling with what to get for my outlaws until they came to visit. Over a 24 hour period my shiny white sink in the kitchen turned into a muddy brown tea coloured one because they drink so much tea and just tip the dregs into the sink!!:rotfl: So, they're getting a yorkshire tea basket....tea biscuits, teapot, teatowel, teacake."all endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time..."0

One year for my friends birthday I did something similiar and put in silly things like her fav packet of crisps and chocolates.
