The Code number being operated by your employer this year (and on your payslip) .... should tell you?If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
Hi everyone
I've got a couple quick questions ...
Does anyone know what number you need to call? Or do you have to find your local office?
Also, I've found my P60 for 3 periods, which all seem to be incorrect, but for the rest of the time, I've only managed to find a few of my payslips. Can I still claim, as I think I may have been underpaying all along??
Thanks0 -

As your P60s are a statement of fact (total pay / total tax / Code number) ....... why do you consider they're wrong?
And if you're 'underpaying' .......... what would you be claiming?
Post your P60 details (Tax year / Gross Pay / Tax deducted / Code number) if you want them checking. If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -

Sorry, I meant overpaying
So I think the P60 is correct in it's calculations, but incorrect in the fact that they worked it out on an incorrect code.0 -
but incorrect in the fact that they worked it out on an incorrect code.
Then if you post your Codes (specifying the tax year) someone will have a look at them. Be helpful if you said why you think they're wrong at the same time?If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
THANK YOU!!! .... seems i've been on the incorrect code for over 12 months... apparently i've been paying £108 extra each month!.. i will receive a reimbursement within the next few weeks"Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone, and do not be troubled about the future, for it has yet to come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering"0

Don't think there is an address on the cheque? It's surely on the detachable 'carrier' document?
But - either way - yes, they should accept it.“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. Your really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” Lucille Ball.0
