Good afternoon
The sun is shining, I thought it had left blighty for good!
Had a good morning, catching up with some jobs and I've just done a quick inventory list of my toiletries cupboard
Mmmm where did 10 hand creams and 5 cleansing lotions come from?
I've also found lots of free samples that I've "borrowed" from hotels so should have enough shampoo and conditioner to last me for the next few weeks :jI certainly don't need to buy body lotion or body butter either for the next 10 years. May I hasten to add that I didn't buy all these toiletries they have all been given as gifts!
The rest of the day is going to be spent cleaning the house, making dinner and then tonight my fab best friend is coming round and we're going to watch a chick flick, drink wine, probably moan about our DHs and have a good chin wag.
I think thats about it from me xx0 -
Good Evening
Just been doing a quick mental arithmetic in my head. If we can pay off all that is forecast at the end of March the following scenario will be occurring
Our debt will be a touch above £7k :j
The HSBC credit card will be paid off and the work can begin on clearing the Barclaycard :j:j
We will have paid off 44% of our debt :j:j:j
All good news, its a really good motivator to keep a track on the dastardly grocery budget. I just need to stay focused and in control!!0 -
Evening Choogirl,
Woo 44% off the debt sounds fab, thats an incentive if ever I heard one!! Well done on the survey payout too :T.

Thank you Mummytogirls and Abba
I had a lovely evening with my best buddy, we drank some wine (but not too much), ate chocolate, watched a DVD and moaned about our DHs. I feel fine this morning, I hope its not going to be a delayed hangover as I have so much to do.
Todays plan is to blitz the areas that are on my list and try and get on top of my ironing before the kids go back to school on Monday and I return to work.
DH has been paid today so I will be making a transfer to my VSP and paying for my car insurance!
I can also empty my purse and put the contents into my treat pot and also empty the entertaining budget envelope, the change will go to the family treat pot and the £10 will go to the HSBC credit card :j0 -
Evening Choogirl, sounds like a busyish day in your house. Did you manage to get everything sorted?
Aww your evening in sounds lovely, im having similar tonight but on my own, DH is out!! Ive already cracked open the wine aswell !!!
Yay to being able to empty your purse into the treats tin x xMummytogirls x0 -
Good Afternoon
Thanks Mummytogirls, I did alot yesterday and the house looks alot tidier. I hate mess and I find it so hard keeping on top of it all. Its never too early for a glass of wine
Having a pretty carp day today, its a hormonal day and everything is irritating me, every month I either get really irritated and irrational or spotty and this month its irritated and irrational
I hate feeling like this as I know I am a right pain but can't stop myself.
Right I am going to pay for my car insurance and sort the filing out as I have already had an argument with DH over this today. His idea of filing is to leave it in the kitchen on the microwave
Hopefully my mood will improve over the weekend x0 -
Why do they do that, i have sorted out our paper work into box files, all labelled and kept together on a shelf but stil my OH dumps everything behind the fruitbowl on the worktop:mad:.0
