They must be selling them at a loss. I don't believe it's possible otherwise. The cost of transporting fireworks is very expensive, as is the storage for 1.3.g items (which I believe this pack is).

Most retailers offer it for around £80, I'd guess they're buying them at about £30-50.

Si7 certainly got a bargain. You can get a Brothers Companion pack for around £30-40 which is similar quality, but the Kimbolton stuff tends to be more expensive.

Agree it is a fantastic price, thought it was an error on the discounts initially but found another branch 30 miles away doing the same prices. Thought I'd better take a trip over and see them too, well, it would be rude not to :D

i saw some kimbolton fireworks at a garden centre on the way back from where i got all my stuff from. i'd never heard of them before so i didnt think anything of it. maybe i should go back and take a closer look, i know they had half price offers on...!

Where was this Garden Centre Windmill? Can you remember the name? Wonder if it's a branch on the store list.

How far are you? There's one in Bristol, Cambridge, Shropshire & two in Birmingham & surrounding I think.

Too far for the few things I would want, my display is this Saturday and I have no time....:(

    Heyy,

Lmao, I thaught that when I baught them. They were available from the fireworks warehouse for £12.99 BOGOF, made by RAGE fireworks from Absolute. It didn't say what they do or anything but looking at the wrapper etc it says mine/ shot tube/ fountain combinations so they sound quite good!

Also, its fine about the links Im glad I found them as it will give me something to do going through all your stash and seeing what everything does :)

Oh, and yeah the Lidl selection box. The Fire Pack contains 1x100 shot roman candle, 1x 7shot, 1x 60 shot and then 2 fountain/roman candle combinations which are the extras to the cyber pack. So really if your not after a few nice bigger roman candles then I would go for the 2 cyber packs as you would get 4 normal roman candles (5shot), 2 60 shotters and a range of fountains inc 4 volcano's which are supposed to be great!

Glad that this topic has livened up again :D! Mainly thanks to Si for posting his finds and pics :D

That mine combination is safest fastened to a short stake driven into the ground and secured firm with gaffatape.

Here is the stuff I got from Lidl.

The weco Fire Fighter, seems to have a 3" square empty space in the centre, aswell as being a different shape to the one in the brochure .
  • Hi all

here's our stash from JTF this year, it cost about £150 all in inc VAT so hopefully they will give us a good enough display! [IMG][/img]sam0139.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Seems a fantastic amount for £150 Katy, well done :D Can I ask how much the sparklers were? I think Asda have got something wrong on their sparkler prices & if they are substantially lower than JTF wholesale prices it would confirm. :)

Well the sparklers came as part of the pack, but normally they are 55p a pack.
