If you do go for any Brightstar items then you should expect to pay approx 50% of the RRP on most of the things they sell, you will typically see them BOGOF or 50% discounts.

some of the brightstar-esco range can be a bit crud in places, watch a few videoclips off the website first to be sure of what you are getting. It can be 50/50:)

  • Hi! We have had for the last few years a small garden display and have used fireworks from Sainsbury's spending no more than about £50. IN the main these have been fine. We did try a box and some rockets from a local shop last year but they were rubbish. This year our local Sainsbury's is closed in the run up to BFN for a refit and are selling a different brand I think, info being hard to find and the shop staff less than helpful.

Tesco seem to be doing Standard fireworks and I think for the money we can put together a couple of boxes (and get the Clubcard points!), but are they any good? Are there any safe, cheap and decent alternatives to supermarkets that don't cost the earth?

    Advice please!
