I have read that about a certain lidl piece, but it sounded more like sour grapes to me. As for all year suppliers, you have to be lucky enough to live near one in the first place.I have bought online from 2 such companies in england, and of course you get more choice, but the cost increases due to p&p or if you travel to the place. This season i will be buying local and that includes lidl,(5 minute walk) as long the product is good value.
  • The weco lidl ones are good value except the rockets.

UKFR is best site for pyro, by a long way.

There are some very good shops that are all year, all family busineses waht we should be supporting.

Great Northern Fireworks- Steve and his family
Pure Party- Stu (Starsky72) and family
    Galactic - Nigel
Epic Fireworks- Paul, Jimmy and Bruce
    First Galactic Fireworks
    Firework Factory- Chris and Ben
    Big Firework Shop- Ian
Jordan Fireworks- David Jordan and family
    FHM Fireworks
    Highlight

Proper fireworks- proper shop. You won't find that at Lidl!

    And thats just a few.

Like i say ,if you live close to these [proper shops] great. Lidl opened a shop local to me,i will spend money there. If epic or any of the above mentioned opened local to me ,even just for a month a year,i would gladly spend my money with them.
  • Agree with you there mate. Where are you from? lidl is ok but jus not got enough firework or now know thats why a proper shop is better if you can get to one .
  • Has anyone seen a shop called "JTF?" They have a lot of stores and do a very big range called "Guy Fawkes" fireworks. Its halkf price plus vat on most items.

Guy Fawkes are Bright star fireworks in new clothes. If you have a Bright Star trade seller near you,(we did last year)you can get almost everything jtf sells at the same price,,eg jtf alien attack rsp £19.99,, £7.95,, is brightstars mars attack,,rsp £16.99 last years price. If i spent enough at the trade place i could at least match jtf prices, that is my plan this year.
  • ive used jtf for as long as remember for fireworks and every year im proud of what i paid especially the cakes.
