I set off all my weco stuff on sunday at a belated friends new year bonfire party and here's what I thought of it all;
Weco Cyber Box-contents quite good, great effects and worth the money 4.5/5
Weco Fire Pack-slightly better than Cyber Box, some interesting items and reasonably entertaining 4/5
Weco Skyline-pretty, but why all in red for a rocket assortment though? I would have liked to have seen a mix of different visual/aural effects in different colours and styles 3.5/5
Weco Cocktail Of Rockets-the two stormy and two big crackles rockets had a reasonable bang and good effects to them(best of the bunch really), the two tricolour rockets were OK, the uranus and atlantis rockets could've been better but were a bit limp to say the least 4.5/5
Weco 25 Carat-stunning and rather nice with decent bangs and beautiful gold trailing bursts 5/5
Weco Ipanema-silver comets rising to beautiful crackling bursts with a good report 5/5
Weco Firefighter-good piece, starts off pretty, then builds up and gets better and much louder 5/5
PS I used the pieces in Cyber Box,Fire Pack and the rockets at less than 25m(nobody got hurt) as everyone was upwind of the fireworks with backs toward the prevailing winds and the three cakes were placed even further back due to their slightly more powerful effects.0 -
thanks for that report. i agree that the weco cakes were 5/5 and the cyber/firepacks were also decent.As for lighting them less than 25m(selection pack stuff) thats fair enough because you wouldnt see most of the stuff 25m away and only 1 or 2 of the items had any great height to them.There is a 8m class for garden fireworks ,and the cyber/firepacks would be fine at that range. Just to add ,still the best firework i lit in 2010 for £11.99 was cosmic astras T REX TERROR,the effects were stunning. anybody else want to nominate their fave firework feel free to do so before this forum goes to sleep for the next 8 months.0
