Some android tablet advice please.

I might just keep saving and go for the ipad then. Or spend the cash I have for an android tablet and pay the rest off.

Its actually much easier to jailbreak an ios product than it is to root an android product.

However you don't need to root android to install software from other sources.

I think it's something you have to try. Reading slatedroid the experience can vary quite a lot between similar spec units.

The Archos is a capacitive screen, I guess I should wait for stock of that to be available.

I rushed into buying the original Asus eeepc. Best to learn from that!

In all honesty I'd wait till mid 2011 for a decent android tablet, though the archos 101 is imo superior to the ipad in price and capabilities.
