if the £149 one is in your budget it will be a much nicer experience OS wise, 2.1 is much smoother and more refined.

Thanks. I'm gonna have a bit of a look around and see if I can find one with a better battery life.

PC World / Currys are supposed to be releasing 2 cheap tablets this month, the specs looked good on them.

You're wrong on that one. Part of the requirement for the official Android market is to have phone functionality. There are other markets of course and as there will soon be a flood of Android tablets that requirement may be relaxed.

Does anyone know when the dixons tablets are out? All reports say the 1st of November, but nowhere is stocking it yet.
