  • Morning all - wild, wet and windy here too!

Not going out so no excuse for not getting on with 'indoor' jobs.

Hugs, mules and spoons as needed - and a quiet day for all those who couldn't sleep last night - there seem to have been rather a lot.

Love to toots, Lady-L and Diva

The landlord has someone coming to view the cottage on Wednesday, so I need to get my act together and declutter a bit faster, and clean up as I go along too. Not good as my arm is quite bad today.(Neck is even worse!). DGD is not well, and DS is still in bed.
I am struggling to get moving dispite being awake for 2 plus hours already!.

Two cups of tea usually get me going, but not today alas!.
DGD cannot go to playgroup, so the 3 hours of peace is not going to happen.

On a good note, .....er, um. Oh I am alive!

Better get started on the living room.
then I have 120odd brussel sprouts to peel, and blanche and freeze. 1p each approx from appproved foods.
The other veg can wait a day or so, but they are starting to go already! so not as fresh as I thought, or just maybe as they were left in a plastic bag in the box on the kitchen floor since friday, as I was going away when it was delivered. !!

Need a rocket up the proverbial for both myself and DS.

Oh Mum has just signed into MSN I better say hello to the old folks. (or as we call them Parrots...long story).
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
  • Morning,

I'm in for my first full week! Fingers crossed I don't fail miserably!!
The problem I have is that neither DH or myself are naturally tidy people, in fact I would go as far as to say we are naturally messy!! On top of that we have a ridiculous amount of stuff, most of which is being slowly sold via ebay and because we live in rented, with the hope that we will soon be able to buy our own place, we don't feel inclined to spend time and money on making the house suit our needs better, so we just make do! Finally we both work full time and are often out with various commitments & hobbies in the evenings & weekends. So when I am home I'm often too knackered to start cleaning :(

Sorry that was a bit of a moan, I guess like most people I just struggle to keep on top of everything! And we don't even have any little people or pets to add into the equation. I take my hat off to those of you with children to look after as well.

Ok, so new week, new start, onwards and upwards :)

  • I'm in again!

Have decluttered DD2 to A Level Geography fieldtrip - she really didn't want to go (fussy eater!).

So got to use the 3 days wisely and get summat done! Two full bags out for charity this morning - mainly my stuff -slimming world has rendered a large proportion of my wardrobe redundant ( since July have lost 1.5 stones and gone from a size 22/24 to the point where a 20 is nearly too big!).

OH has finally tumbled that I might need new clothes!;)

Off to make DD1 a cup of tea and then sort out the washing. Later I have a surprise baby shower for one of the teachers at school!

    Morning all.

DD has an allergic reaction to something or it's the start of eczema, so meds given to help the itch also she has an abscess, so i'll give the dentist a call and see what can be done, poor child is just run down. :(

DS1 is off with the cold and a bad cough, so he's been given meds and there both wrapped up on the sofa. The school have given work to keep them busy for the day. :rotfl:

    Right must find my list..

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
