Not doing too badly this week. I'm trying to really sort everything out. Its mad that by not keeping up over 2 weeks while i was ill how it all builds up again! I'm going on a mad one in my kids room tomorrow ready for Christmas. Still pulling jobs out of a [STRIKE]hat[/STRIKE]bowl! It really works!
On another note i really need a new hoover. Any recommendations for something for less than £100? Got laminate and ceramic tiles downstairs, carpet on landing, stairs and DD2 and DS room and real wood in mine and DD1 room. No pets! Thanks! xx

      Hope everyone well. xx

Off topic help needed I've been organising our school reunion(class of 1984), and I have absolutely nothing suitable to wear. I've been round the charity shops and the local dress agency, to no avail, I don't want to spend a fortune. Everything I own and might have worn is too dressy, so I need something fairly cheap that's not going to clutter up my wardrobe in the future. Smart-causal is the dress code. I'm a size 12/14 with no BXXbs and own a tummy and hips. I've just realised I'm desparate and am about to embark on a trip to either Perth or Dundee to sort it out. (talk about a wake up call!) I know it's off topic, but if anyone has any suggestions.... x
Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.

Have done the bare minimum again today, didn't sleep well last night due to a sore neck and shoulders so have been dosing myself with cocodomol(sp?) and deep freeze. Stil have things whirling round my mind from the funeral and keep asking myself is it worth worrying about, now he has passed on.......????
Tooch honey - you have answered yourself i think - no its not worth worrying about but maybe worth thinking about - even though he didnt see you I am sure he wouldnt want you to be stressing about things you cant change now - everything is still fresh in your mind and a bit raw - maybe write down all the things that you are thinking about so that you have all the details and then come back to it in a month or so and look at it again - its hard for you because you cant ask him questions and get answers but I hope you can find some way of dealing with it. (((hugs)))

have done some things on the internet and now going to organised for the morning.

      will see you tomorrow

hope those feeling any pain or discomfort have a better night.

love and hugs to everyone especially LadyL and Diva

I have cleaned my bedroom so that's a full house in a day (bearing in mind my cursory skim of the teens rooms)

(anyone who's new - I have been here YEARS and have decluttered BIG TIME and have no toddlers to slow mw down and no OH in the house (and what a boon to tidiness THAT is!).

I have also glued the little rubber feet onto my 'posh' tray
tightened the screws on the (IKEA special) coffee table

so tomorrow I can plough on with my planning!
Oh and I found some more treasures to e bay!

(and did you know people buy and sell money off vouchers on e bay!)

I might have left one or two little things at the TC for you...not much though! Had a lovely time with my friend. One of those days that just makes you smile. Hope you have fun when you go.

Thanks for leaving me some stuff! Not sure it will be fun as DH has decided to come with me and we will do Costco at the same time.
Not what I had in mind!

Anyway, hugs to all that need them. Sounds as if my worries are small compared to alot of other peoples.

I've finished work now until Monday, so flying will commence in ernest tomorrow.

Anyone know where I can buy a swimming costume at this time of year. I've ordered one online but it's 1-2 weeks wait and I need it b4 then. I don't want to pay a fortune for something that will only be worn a few times. I just want something black (slimming) that will hold the belly in. I can only swim if I know I can put my foot down, so I'm not looking for olympic quality :rotfl:

Maxonian - have you tried the Cheshire Oaks outlet place? My last out of season one was a Mcarthur Glen special from the Adidas shop
      Dusty - stop tempting me!
sockdrawer - primark leggings and back combed hair with a 'nice' DA at the back? Obviously I don't remember the 80s :)

DW, WM and TD done. Hoovered, etc.

I bought 3 online from D@benhams a couple of weeks ago.. tried them all on, then sent two back. Good service and not bad choice. They didn't have any with the 'hold-it-all-in' tummy bit though :o - I did look ;)

nattyt I can't help, I'm sorry .. I have a dyson and love it. I know a few of the girls on here have Henrys, hope someone can be more informative than me!!

Sockdrawer - yes leggings and a long ish top. Someone at work had a gorgeous top on today which i commented on, and that was from primarni! Long beads detract from the boobies!

I have been at work today and OH has had the day off. I came home to a kitchen where I can't see the worktops and plates and wrappers in the LR. I've tried to be so good since I started flying 3 weeks ago and the kitchen and LR have never stayed so clean. Oh well going to go and do it now before I go to bed.
