    Morning All

I hope you are all well, I have been a bit awol (over on the craft thread). I was supposed to be getting a stall on 27th at the village switch on of the Christmas lights however, I got a phone call on Tuesday to say that as it was not for an organisation then I couldn’t do it, so my only chance is the indoor car boot this Sunday. so I have been spending all my time making stuff in a hurry, so the house will have to stay as it is until next week I’m afraid.

Also when leaving work yesterday, I went out to my car, closed the drivers door, heard a noise and turned round and the back windscreen had shattered  I have no idea what happened but thank goodness wee man wasn’t in the car at the time, I drop him off before and collect him after work. Glass Company is repairing it this afternoon at home so I took hubbys car today. Guys in work were great; they hoovered out all the glass and got a big plastic sheet over the back to get me home safely. Cost me £70 excess which I could have been doing without right now

Hope you are all well; I have had no time to catch up. Special love and hugs as always to Lady-L, Toots & Diva x

    Good morning :)

I had a very odd sleepless night last night then this morning found I forgot to take my meds. I spoke to DS1 for around 4 hours and he is in uni today, thank God. We have put cash in his account and he is coming home for the weekend. It is easier to talk face to face.
I think he is another suffering from the BD and hasn't been right since our friend passed away. Hey ho, we will see when he gets home.

, hugs hun, you are like me I feel. DH says I think too much! I hope you can get things sorted in your mind and get some decent night 's sleep again. Huge hugs for you.

natty I have a Henry which is ideal for a pet free home and great on hard floors. They are built to last too. I just bought my 'cat and dog' because the Henry wasn't touching the collie hairs.

Last night the wind was the worst we have had in years. The windows were bowing in. I closed the blinds so we couldn't see and DH turned the TV up to try to drown out the noise. He says we now know why lots of old houses around here have interior shutters. We didn't even try to go to bed until 1.30am. He is now out on someone's chimney repairing it!! It is still very windy up here. We are thankful he has the work though, so not complaining.

hugs macpep, you really sound like you need huge hugs atm. So lucky LO wasn't in the car when it happened.

I am going to do a quick s & s then get ready to go out with DD.

  • My suggestion - don;t go :rotfl: Those things fill me with horror - there are reasons why I've not been in touch with people I was at school with, for 30 years :eek::eek: Sorry if that's not useful :o

Lol! If only!!! I kind of got landed with actually organising it, rather than simply putting a website up for them and letting those nearer, or with more contacts organise it, which was my original plan! Really I'm not the best person for the job, as I wasn't in contact with anyone really at the time! Just glad it's smart-casual. One person completely threw the dummy out the pram when she didn't get her own way about it being a posh sit down meal job. Thankfully a couple of people have stepped into the breach and done a lot re contacting folk, but I truly would give it a bodyswerve if I could! Compensations are that I have booked DH and I into a hotel for Sat and Sun night, and they've just rung to say we've been upgraded to their poshest hotel because the original one has roof damage with the winds.
Thanks for all the suggestions re things to wear. Leggings and a long top it is, with beads (I hadn't thought of that, great suggestion).
Now, off to clear some lists.
    HHC at 1020 anyone?
