Sorry I've not read much yet but hugs to you Natty xxx

I've done no flying but am about to throw myself in to it. Good distraction technique as I had to take my parent's dog to be put down at 2am this morning. She started fitting last night and, basically, never came out of it. I've spent the morning with them and they're devastated but know they made the right decision. It's just so sad seeing people you love upset. So, i'm going to find myself a list and get some work done. I took stripes round there this morning and she's been giving my dad lots of cuddles (no hardship for her as she loves cuddles!) - it's funny how she just seemed to know they were upset.

    Hugs to everyone xx

DH can't work because of the snow so he is busy clearing out and remaking the fire. A job I hate as it is bad for my lungs.

Our new Miele cat and dog arrived on Saturday so I am going to play with it when he has finished. It is much lighter than my old vacuum so hope I can manage it. Then I can really join in with flying.

They are good can't fault mine my aunt came over from belguim last year and when she was here she used it and ending up buying one to they are so much lighter to use than other cleaners we have had.

Mudbath sorry to hear your parents had to have there dog put down thinking of them.

Natty Sorry to hear about your MIL and DH's aunt am thinking of you all but please try and take some me time we dont want you being ill as well.

Took DS to speech therapy and after 18 months of being passed to piler and post it looks like there could be a reason for his speech problems I know it will sounds strange but in a way it is a relief as I feel like someone is starting to take some notice of him. Know we have to start the statement process though as he starts school next year so I am sure it will be yet another battle to go through and I have no idea what to expect so if anyone has any advice it will be more than gratefully received. :D

Flying Tea is in the oven DW on and neighbour has just dumped a great big christmas tree in the front room  HHC coming up anyone want to join me?

    Good afternoon, all.

Mudders big (((HUGS))) what an awful, awful task to have to do.:( May to doggie's journey to the Summerlands be a pleasant one.:o (((HUGS))) for Stripes, too; I imagine she's being wonderful comfort.

Been a manic week, I am trying to give up smoking :o,
but with the hot flushes it's not easy. So if I am a little weird on some posts I opologise in advance, (what do you mean I've always been weird) :D
:T:T:T:T:T You can do it! I did, in 2002, and if I can manage it, I'm darned sure you can, too.

Many thanks to FCC; I'm partway through today's list, and will post progress once it's as done as I can manage. It's taking a while as I have to keep turning round and kicking BD in the nuts, as he's snapping at me again. It's not helping that it's cold, dark and miserable in Concrete Cow Country today; I'm resisting the temptation to switch the lights on.

Hex, sorry I wasn't around last night when you had your troubles with the lights. I can certainly understand - my "thing" is enclosed spaces, especially enclosed spaces with other people in them (not fun when you have to use the lift in stores, in a wheelchair!!) With Mr LW, it's heights.

Thanks to whoever it was gave the heads-up re the Tesco vouchers (Triker, was it?) I checked and have £5 I didn't know about.:D

There was more I was going to say, but, as is so often the case these days, it's sneaked out the back door of my mind while I wasn't looking.:D So..... have a (((HUG))) if you need one, and I'll go grab a duster.:D

Cheers Lonewolf It is one of those things where you know you are being daft but you still do it.

Anther day wasted on car issues, DHs this time. I am finally home again and time to get on. DW is on, and the WM. Too cold to sit round although I have just lit a fire so it is warm when the boys get back.

Thanks everyone for the support and the thread. Hugs for those in need, and hello to the newbies.

Hex - you've got lights now and it is daylight anyhow so no excuses for the typos! :p

I've deleted 100 emails but need to get moving now, I think I've frozen to the chair.

  • Must get back on with things - will put loaf in oven and finish tidying the sitting room. Kitchen is now fully cleared and washed up after morning activities - just need to get down to some serious work on the other cleaning.

Flying for HHC, starting right now, just to see what I can shift: join me anyone?
