Went to docs this morning for a medical and asked her to look at some spots while I was there, turns out I have shingles
Hugs for you ajmoney, shingles can be awful so take care of yourself.Good distraction technique as I had to take my parent's dog to be put down at 2am this morning. She started fitting last night and, basically, never came out of it. I've spent the morning with them and they're devastated but know they made the right decision. It's just so sad seeing people you love upset. So, i'm going to find myself a list and get some work done. I took stripes round there this morning and she's been giving my dad lots of cuddles (no hardship for her as she loves cuddles!) - it's funny how she just seemed to know they were upset.
I'm so sorry to hear your news Mudbath, I'm sure stripes is a great comfort.

I should probably mention, I shall be AWOL for the next three Fridays; Mr LW has some leave to use up, so he's having 3 long weekends - 2 of which we have things to do on the Friday. This Friday, we're off to the opera (Don Giovanni) and will need to be in town very sharp to get a disabled parking space; then on 19th, the car goes for her 50,000 mile service - we've asked for a courtesy car and will probably pootle into Northampton for a change. (Garage is on the outskirts of Northampton).
Anyways, I'll try and do Friday's room to level 2 standard on the Thursdays, if I can for these weeks.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Afternoon folks
Hope you are all ok, and keep warm please.
3 items on ebay have bids and I have 21 watchers as well!! so that is good.
Done all my work for today, plus rung loads of customers, so I have blitzed the kitchen area here at work, chucked out all out of date sauces etc, wiped all the shelves over and it all looks good.

Hi Everyone
Hope you are all well, I have not been able to get on all weekend, was dragged to fireworks on Friday after being in at Glasgow after work, Saturday, I was out at Girls Day Out all day, in bed at 8.30 due to being [STRIKE]drunk as a skunk[/STRIKE] very tired.Sunday was spent recovering, shopping for pink baby things as my cousin had a wee girl on Saturday night & I made my first every Nappy Cake
I was very pleased with it
So I am most definitely in this week and I MUST get on with painting DD’s room, its just getting back into the swing of it again, once I start, I am ok.
So thanks to all the lovelies at FCC for lists etc as usual, I will not get a chance to catch up with fred so grab a hug/stick/spoon as required when you go past. Special love and hugs as always to Lady-L, Toots & Diva.
