its a sort of go between (i think) i.e. instead of going straight to a web page your request goes via the proxy server and is then passed back to you.

ok thanks for that, because I tried the open the site in firefox and it said that a proxy may be blocking the site or something to that effect. So is there any way that I can unblock this proxy?

It's not something that I have done myself but if you are desperate to book a flight, you could always cancel the card straight afterwards?

Others may have an opinion on this.

ok so I have an idea, as the website opened through this free proxy site, am I able to somehow make a new proxy and put the website through this?

ok I will be back tommorow morning please could someone tell me if i can put some sort of new proxy code in my browser that will somehow open up the website? I have until tommorow and I would really thank everyone who gives any suggestions.

Have you thought of travelling by train and ferry? Quantas are having a few problems with their planes (Airbus and Boeing), a plane crashed in Cuba and Airbuses are just scary airplanes anyway they should all be grounded forever! Plus there's all this terrorism business. There seems to be a few signs out there.
