Hi,
would think it will be ok, as long as you say it is broken and give a good description of the faults, if not worth fixing, could sell for spares.
Plenty for sale, look.0 -
Yes they probably could fix it im just worried about whats on the hard drive ?Won 2010: Butlins 5 day Break and £250, 1 yr Virgin Active membership, Meal for 10 at Best Parties Ever, skyline 2011 dvd.

Peel back your baby's eyelid to find no nationality or religious identity mark there. Peer at your baby's eyes for them to reflect back just people-throw away your flags and religious symbols...0

What do you mean by there is nothing there on the screen?
Is the screen broken or is the laptop not starting or it is running but not loading windows?
It may be fixable depending what is wrong with it.0 -
If its a laptop with a SATA hard drive, they share the same interface as the desktop PCs. You could put it in your desktop computer temporarily and wipe it with one of the many free apps on the interwibble.0

The hard drive is very easy to remove from a laptop. theres a small screw under the machine, with an obvious removeable little plate. Once you pop that off you just simply pull out the drive and remove the little clip which is attached to it. Thats it.
But from the sounds of it, if the laptop is turning on, then your machine sounds fine and would probably be very easy to sort out. Could just require a reinstallation of the operating system to fix it.0 -
