A few weeks ago I got a cheque for £1 which should have been £10 so I sent an email to SCAgeneralenquiries@sca.com with VELVET MONEY TREE COMPETITION as the subject heading. I did get a reply that they would look into it so anyone with a query could try this email address. I did eventually get my cheque for £10.

I think something is going on because nobody seems to be getting cheques at the moment and it seems a bit of a waste to keep claiming until its sorted out. Good Luck.

From what they've said on facebook it seems that they are wanting the proper promotional packaging - along with the red arrow that points to the barcode as well as a receipt.

When I have won i've sent off the full promo pack plus receipt and i've not had any problems getting my cheques.

Maybe, just a thought, the issue is with people who are just sending receipts off? I think at one point it was okay to do that and they were paying out so I can see why people have done that. < Just a thought.

No, it is nothing to do with what you send. I have sent all the promo packaging along with the receipt and am still waiting for my £1000 cheque from them receiving it on the 25th February. From what little they have said it is to do with wether the winners have played more than once per IP per day. It seems to be all wins from mid Feb that they are not paying.

I am really angry and frustrated at this competition. I've bought at least 30 packs of Velvet rolls in good faith. I've not won a fortune, it works at about £80 (£20 of which I'm still waiting for). Velvet seem to keep changing their rules as the comp goes on, they obviously didn't realise how many people would enter, but that's not our fault and I think they should pay up.

I'm waiting for a cheque for £100 - from 3rd March. I sent off a receipt, barcode and screen print by recorded delivery and have heard nothing.

I am waiting for a number of cheques, oldest one was 25th February for £10, but I have won several times since and heard nothing.

I have sent in proper receipts and promo packaging.

Velvet has to know exactly how many prizes they want to give out. They would set the computer to release a certain number a day so cannot possibly over spend.

This needs investigating by the authorities ie trading standards for example as they are in breach of their own terms and conditions.
