SHAME! on those cashing in on the rbl charity pin, items like this shouldn't be on bay unless the seller is prepared to donate the extra to charity, this is pure greed! i understand there is money to be made on ebay be it a glitch etc but cashing in on charity is simply wrong, this wasn't a glitch at allDebt free

I watched the Buckley jewellery show this morning on QVC, and Adrian said that the brooches are donated to the Royal British Legion - he doesn't make a penny (a bit like all the companies who donate products free of charge for Breast Cancer Awareness night), so that's really nice to know.
He must have sold quite a few morning !!!!!. It stated on one website that this poppy was a limited a edition piece especially for the poppy appeal, I really cannt get my head round this one. May think twice next year, it seems anyone can sell a poppy this time of the year and everyone clamers to buy it even if no monies go to charity. Another way of getting us to part with our money.0 -
Could someone who has received theirs let me know who delivered it, was it royal mail or another courier company?
Thanks in advance.
Royal Mail delivered mine, they come boxed and then in a jiffy bag so it was a doorbell job as the postman couldn't fit it throughSealed Pot Challenge Member 1273VSP 2011 Member 92 - 723.070 -

It's extremely interesting that the Poppy brooch which QVC sold on behalf of Adrian Buckley last year was almost twice the price and no mention of any money to charity. Perhaps he feels he made enough last year to appear charitable this year.
CAll me old fashioned but I'll continue to buy a paper one and donate each year rather than line the pockets of a big organisation such as QVC, Ebay or any other.NO FARMS = NO FOOD0 -
Yes I know what you mean.
But there are a few now on there selling them on e-bay but all money raised seem to be going to charity.
I bet people have put these on there so hopefully bidders will do the right thing and bid on those ones ;0)0 -

That sounds like a much more sensible idea to me. Get your poppy the old fashioned way and know exactly where your money goes and customise it to suit yourself. You may just have started a trend there :TNO FARMS = NO FOOD0 -

Still nothing arrived for me, I really do think that the service is disgusting, I totally agree with donations etc but I would rather now have a refund and donate the full amount to the cause. I certainly will not be ordering another one next year~!0
