Strauss has got so many fielders on the boundary, that Katich could probably sneak out pretending to be Bollinger and no one would notice.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0

I suspect that we'll have a good old fashioned umbrella field 2nd over tomorrow when they take the new ball.
Ace pictureI always forget how much I love cricket until the Ashes is on. Unfortunately I can only catch an hour in the evening and an hour in the morning as I have to be at work for 7

My medication is wearing off
that's a great picture of the slip cordon, looks suspiciously like Denis Lillee bowling.
On a serious note, with the whopping lead England had, Strauss showed how conservative he is by not placing more fielders round the bat, they could have got a couple more out with more aggressive field settings0 -

Yeah he is a pretty conservative skipper but in some ways I like him for it. Cricket doesn't have to be played in that Australian, in-your-face way. I loved the way both Cook and Pietersen made their very big scores on the weekend. Doug 'the rug' Bollinger (link - work safe) was trying to give them a bit of chin music and staring down the pitch at them. Pietersen was just swatting them away for 4 which is always effective. Cooky would just ignore him and get on with some gardening.0 -
Broad out for the rest of the ashes tour, I don't think that it will be such a loss, maybe more for his batting if England manage to lose more than 6 wickets in an innings, in doesnt matter as they are so much stronger than the aussies.
Hussey's out that could be curtains.0 -
