yes older we already get £10.00 a week off rent and £1.14p week off council tax, :T,
TBH it wernt worth the hassle filling in the forms and gathering All the bank statements and everything else they wanted to see for the discount we got,
we now paying £150.00 a month in council tax since we started getting child tax credits of £56.00 week,, and rent shot up from us paying £160 a month to £540, 00 a month all on the basis that i started getting extra £56.00 tax credits,
I will Not be applying for these nxt year its jus made us worse off,
we were scraping by before i applied for it now theirs just no money left after rent, tax, electric, gas, water, service charge,tv licence,
i now find im having to use my sons dla to help pay the bills,
so u see i really need to work if i can just earn £800.00 to £1000.00 a month we would be able to cover all bills and live a little,, right now its just so bad,, cant moan to much tho as i know everyones feeling the pinch ,0 -

This treatment by a major supermarket chain is absolutely disgusting. Incidentally with working all night and caring all day exactly when will you be getting to sleep or do Tesco think that human beings are no different to their bloody computers. This is a major pi55 take on an epic level and should be exposed in the press!0

im jus hoping that i will walk away with a real job or i will feel really pee'd off and will felt like they jus used me,
i cant afford to be used like this and i certainly don't want to be dragged away from my family for 8 hours a night for the nxt week if its all a con and their are no jobs available at the end of it,,
i shall no be responsible for my sudden onset of kleptomania if this should haven :beer:0 -
i was told by job center that its now the only way this store is hiring anyone as they have taken on to many people who just wernt right for the job in the past and this is now how they are recruiting,
If they have been taking on people who weren't right for the role, this says more about the flaws in their recruitment process than anything else.

Padded John try and use some common sense. If the OP is out of her mind with tiredness the chances of an accident at work will increase tenfold. Then as a taxpayer YOU will be picking up the bill for the disabled people that she cares for. I used to work a night job ten years ago and i worked with the young mum of a toddler and she worked full time nights like i did. But she had a toddler to care for during the day so never got even 3 hours sleep a night or often no sleep at all. So how did she cope and stay awake for long periods and put the hours in. BY DOING COCAINE thats how. Still i suspect that certain people on this board would rather someone did that than claim benefits!0

I think that the media might actually be interested in this story. it seems very unfair and wrong. perhaps you could even make a little money by passing the story on to a major paper or Tv station. they might be interested to know this goes on and if it happens countrywide.0
