  • I had tried accessing my credit score online during the last weeks of November 2011. but there was no confirmation of any registration. i.e. no confirmation mails received.

So Its obvious for one not to bother. Later on 29th Jan 2012. I lost 19.95 from my bank account as subscription charges for creditscorematters. I tried calling them but they argued and did not refund my hard earned money. I even tried contacting the Lloyds bank for making a claim but was of no use

    NEVER EVER ACCESS CREDITSCOREMATTERS.CO.UK

Even if you don't give them your debit card security number, they'll take the money with the help of the bank

Someone should report these in the media..
  • DO NOT ENTER YOUR DETAILS ON THIS WEB SITE IT IS A SCAM
These people have just taken £19.95 from my account. I stupidly gave my details to these fraudsters thinking I could get a credit report which never actually came, I cancelled within ten minutes but they have still refused to refund my money their advisor Kofi Lamptey was very arrogant and seemed to be very expert in taking these calls as im sure this is all they do. Apparently the company is owned by Adaptive Affinity and a man called Andrew Millet this is a con man. They have many associated web site including Match affinity, PLEASE AVOID all these con websites at all costs.
The people who run these sites are scum and the people who knowingly work for these companys are also scum. I have registered this fraud with my bank and will persue these scum bags for my money.

  • Hi I've just had a really bad experience with callcredit, I was changing my gas and electric supplier through uswitch and first utility came up the best price. Now I have a great credit score with experian and equifax and thought there would be no problem with changing. Turns out I was very wrong!!!! I received an email from first utility saying that my credit check had come back poor from callcredit and they give me a number to phone them which I did. Callcredit then told me I would have to register with them so see my credit file so I did and give my bank account details for there 30 day free trial. When registering with them I got a message saying they couldn't verify me, then a few days later I tried to log on and found out I required a pin number to log on which would come by post. So I decided to phone them to find out how long this would take. One of there advisers advised me it could take up to 7 days for the pin to arrive and I might also receive a letter out requesting for more information to confim who I am before I can get access to my account. When I questioned the adviser about when my membership started from he stated from when I signed up on there website. So by the time I manage to log onto my account my free trial would be finished. I have sent emails to this company and have still had no response either, so I have now sent an email to cancel my account with them and will constantly be checking my bank account to make sure I am not charged. The two questions I have is why is my credit rating so bad with this credit agency when I am excellent with the other two. Also why is first utility using callcredit when they have such a bad reputation and not using experian of equifax. I received an email from first utility stating this:
"Failure to pass the credit check due to a low credit score means that we require a £300 security deposit in order to progress your application.
First Utility will hold the security deposit for at least 6 months. If after this period of time you have paid your bills within 28 days of issue or if you pay by Direct Debit and have not missed any payments during this time, we will return your security deposit back to you. However, if you miss a payment during this 6 month period First Utility reserve the right to retain the security deposit until we are satisfied that your payment pattern is acceptable." This also seems very unfair, your switching to save money not pay out more.

This all seems to be a bit of a scam to me can anyone advise.
