I fell for the same thing and have been charged £19.95 as well, I couldn't find anywhere that said they'd charge such a huge amount plus the letter I got to view the report online has given me instructions to view my report, i followed them but can't login so I didn't even get any service! It's supposed to be a 'free' credit check but obviously nothings 'free' about it.0

Subject: Official letter of complaint regarding my membership to creditscorematters.co.uk
Dear Madam, Sir,
I hereby raise an official complaint regarding the membership fee the website creditscorematters.co.uk charged me on 18/01/2011 (£19.95).
I have given my details and debit card number on your website on 05/01/2011. I have not received to date any kind of credit report despite an automated email I received on 05/01/2011 mentioning that I could access my report online. The report could not be accessed online as a PIN code was required. I raised an official complaint on 19 January 2011 as I have not agreed to be charged £19.95 on a monthly basis as the report was advertised as free on your website.
My membership to Credit Score Matters has been cancelled with immediate effect on 19 January 2011. I have received a letter with my PIN dated 20 January 2011, proving that I could not have possibly been able to access my credit report online before my account was actually cancelled.
Consequently I do require getting a full refund of the total amount charged.
Yours faithfully,
B0 -
Hi there people
I just recently registered on the above mentioned website, and went through the process of entering name and card#, after that an option to register with rewards now?! for a £10 asda voucher!, seemed a little odd for a credit reference agency trying to sell you a subscription read the t&c's carefully and skiped the voucher and continued registration, ALWAYS READ THE SMALL PRINT! anyway got to the page where you print off your member id, clicked back by accident, clicked forward again and the id number was gone PANIC!, checked my email inbox but not junkbox didnt see an email from them(coz it was in junk mail) went back to the website found a telephone #, dialled it and ended up being a wrong # tried it 3 times in case i got it wrong even had it read to me,the whole pin code and asda voucher seemed odd, too much to do just for a credit report! almost felt like them google adverts and those wierd surveys where they just go on forever and ever...
i ended up googling creditscorematters and found quite a few websites with complaints about funds being taken from bank accounts, i got scared, in case that happens to me so i called up my bank and told them what i experienced, and they put a stop to my Entire Debit Card and listed it as stolen, ive had to cut up my card and have to wait for a new 1 to arrive!!!!!! Anyways to cut a long story short ALWAYS READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS even if it takes you 10 days to finish it, my advise is just stick with reputable agencies "WHEN IN DOUBT GOOGLE ABOUT"0 -

If you registerd on their site with some personal details, maybe they've used that info to gain access, or somehow credit scored you and got the info somehow. Whatever, it's illegal.I don't like Mondays!0 -

These guys also took £19.95 after I cancelled within 10 day(in fact in writing the very next day)
The worrying thing was the £19.95 taken by rewards now which I did not agree to????? (same company) After asking for electronic proof of me signing guess what, They had none.
I think this is fraud as one never agreed and 2 never received £10.00 voucher.
THE CHAIRMANS NAME is Mr forest and his home address can be traced through companies house as this is law.
SO IF THIS MAN HAS CONNED YOU GO ASK HIM WHY, JUST KNOCK ON HIS DOOR.0 -
