Just come across a good link - http://www.ifs.org.uk/wheredoyoufitin/ - which tells you how your income compares to the rest of the country. Quite interesting to do if you're feeling 'poor'...Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Thanks for that link Squizz - quite shocking really  I must say I never feel poor (even when I was :rotfl: and certainly not now) - I'm not surprised about where I am (about 52% ish), although if you take out Mr Daffs (who doesn't earn much at all) I've got a higher income than 79% of the population     Enough to shock you into a fair bit of charity giving I'd say  :eek:0

I really was quite surprised (and humbled) by it - we came out as earning more than 74% of the population!
This afternoon I am mostly going through a slightly frustrating but therapeutic process of decluttering my desk - filing/ binning one lot of stuff, looking proudly at nice tidy desk, getting next lot of stuff out to sort hence messing up nice tidy desk... etc... etc... oh and sellotaping together some rather shabby looking sheet music so I'm not too ashamed to take it with me later!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
That is interesting to know- i will have a go as well.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

Hello Bubbles!! How are you stranger?
I now have a very tidy desk! Well, apart from the pile of stuff to be scanned and then thrown out. It won't last, mind you
Two hours till lesson  and :T in equal measure! Off home to eat (cos if I leave it till afterwards I will have rumbling tummy to contend with on top of everything else) and find something comfy to wear (can't move my arms properly in blouse I've got on!)... catch you all later xx
