    Wow! Seriously impressive, Squizz, between the tootling and the relaxing. I definitely think there's something to teaching later on this year - for now, tho, hope you can just take some good down time this weekend, even without having hot water (poor you!).

    :rotfl::rotfl:Brilliant!:rotfl:

    Think I successfully managed the relaxing weekend (could do with another couple of days though!).. bit of gardening on Saturday, and a bit of studying (finished my current course books :D)

    Sunday cycled into town to see a couple of exhibitions at a gallery, then home for lunch, bought Sunday paper and lazed around reading that. Few little bits of tootling inbetween and that's about it.

    Talking of studying.. just as I was leaving work on Friday I got an email saying my latest essay was back marked... hmmph I thought, great start to a 'relaxing' weekend! But as it turned out, really quite a good start as I got my best mark yet :)

    What else.. had a bit of a debate yesterday about whether we should change to a water meter - don't think it would save us lots of money but I think it would make us more careful. Mr S is generally in favour of the idea but not some of the water-saving ideas ("I'm not putting a bucket in the shower!" :rotfl:)

    Anyway, this week is looking like.. work work work as usual.. badminton tonight, flute lesson Thursday and making a start on the next essay inbetween. Oh and of course keeping the spending diary!

    Thats more like it! Nice one :) With the amount of stuff you grow, you could almost definitely benefit from having a water butt :D now who do I know who's got any :D

    Do you wash dishes by hand? A *lot* of water is wasted by running the hot till it comes through, hopefully he won't mind collecting that.

    We still haven't quite worked out where to put a water butt.. the best pipe is too close to another wall to fit one in. Still.. should do some measuring I think.

    Ah yes, we agreed that we should collect the water from running the hot in watering cans... talking of hot water, it mysteriously decided to work (on and off) at the weekend, which was just as well as I accidentally bashed the inside roof of the shed with the rake handle and got covered in nasty grey dust (nearly decapitated by a bit of slate as well :eek:) so was very glad of a warm shower! Boiler fixing person is still coming today though :T

    Thanks Hypno! What's for lunch today? I've got a pasty (not sure what variety as we made some a while ago and I found this last one hanging around in the freezer) :rotfl:

    Decapitation is awfully inconvenient, Squizz, and would probably involve Mr Squizz in a lot of talks with the police, poor lamb. Best avoided!
