GGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! Paris apartment isn't available, work is being particularly annoying.. and really grrrrr  at second job - it's the lack of communication that really gets me... one person tells you one thing and then another one drops casually into an email that "oh by the way so-and-so might be back next week" ... *and breathe*

Hope it's a 'false alarm' about the person coming back. Pity about the Paris flat too.

At least it's thursday, so only tomorrow before the weekend.

((((((Squizz))))))))) you picked the wrong flute teacher there girl - mine gave me some music and said I didn't even have to play it :D :rotfl: (which is probably why you'll be a vrituoso long before me :rotfl:)

Seriously though - if you need a shower ours is electric and works all the time (apart from when it goes on fire, of course, but we fixed that I think :p) Do feel free to pop up for a shower - I'll even put the heating on for a bath if you like (cos, er, we don't have hot water through the taps without putting the heating on :o  - lucky the shower is electric!) I mean it! :D

Yep, off all the way to Wales for one night (with a man who isn't mr daffs  :rotfl:) to play at being pirates at someone's mother's house up some tiny dirt track on top of a giant hill in the middle of nowhere :D

Aww thanks Cheery.. think I'll be OK till Monday but I'll bear it in mind :) Mind you.. I have been longing to have a bath for about a year (we haven't got one and I've even found myself pondering buying a tin one and how many kettles it would take to fill it up :o).......

Your flute teacher seems really nice and laidback! I'm starting to wish I'd pretended to be a complete beginner rather than telling mine what I'd done in the past :rotfl:Anyway, Mozart, Poulenc or Faure, what do you reckon?

Oh no squizz!! That's just the worst thing, pah!

We've got a whole tray full of cake in our kitchen - going to have to resist the urge to pop upstairs every five minutes and have another piece.. :o

I was going to say chuck us some over but I'm not sure what state it would be in when it got here :rotfl:

Bah to lunch being off......I keep a box of various cup a soups for such emergencies.

Today, though, I have couscous and roasted salmon - leftovers from lastnight and it was rather yummy.

Could just demolish a big fat feel sorry for yourself cake, though.....must be strong, must be strong, must be strong!!! I have a dinner to go to tonight, so its not as though I need the extra calories in any way shape or form!

    Enjoy the crackers!!!

Salmon sounds good. Just discovered I have a packet of noodles so could have had those, but crackers were alright. Need to sort out the lunch stocks properly really.

Have attempted to book another apartment in Paris - fingers crossed.
