Total Wipeout is funny though :D

I need to do some serious thinking about exercise too - I had a little dance round the house on Saturday :o and felt much better for it :rotfl:

Ooh, dancing round the house - yes, I like it! Tho these days, it would rank with Total Wipeout in giving other people a laugh :)

Ahh you said the other day it wouldn't be that long before you got back to studying. Definitely think doing something you really enjoy is a good idea.

I've had a look at ballet and zumba classes this morning.. just need to see if I can actually make myself go to something!

its the tai chi yoga and pilates i fancy .... but cant afford lol ... have been to zumba once that was more than enough for me ... dont get me wrong i know you will loose weight fast going there but for me that would be due to me pulling out my eyes ripping off my ears and crying tears of frustration ... others seem to love it though

i think it has its place ... i know alot of people go and love it (its really popular for a reason obviously) it just isnt for me ... but each to their own ... pilates is a great class .. i enjoyed that one as well .... you are busy and you are studying as well as working full time ... but it is also important for you to have some me time ... that and meditation is wonderful ... i did one the other night, i get such a benefit from it

Hmm the 'me time' is something the counsellor has commented on - I just wish Mr S had some sort of hobby so he went off and did something, I feel a bit guilty about planning things for myself. Still not managed the meditation...

Anyway - as a little reminder for myself of things I've found out this morning..

Pilates: Monday 5.30-6.30 (work gym), Wednesday 6.30-7.30 (dance school)
Ballet (adult beginners class): Tuesday 6.30-7.30 (dance school)
Zumba.. arrgh there's loads of them.

There's a few other dance places but they're a bit of a pain to get to without a car... also need to remember to check back on local yoga place for when they're starting their next beginners course.

I think I'd like to do something relaxing and something energetic. Might have to be a class for one and DVD or home for the other... not sure.
