Sounds lovely
(the gardening not the sour puss driving lol) Glad to hear you finally got the garlic planted and it's doing well!
We have garlic and daffodils and an assortment of mysterious bulb things at the moment!
Nice evening out there, I wonder if it will still be light enough for a little potter round the garden when I get home?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Morning. I did indeed have a little potter and discovered that we have buds on the daffodils and the tiny broccoli 'flowers' are getting bigger - I think it's the Romanesco ones that are flowering, about time as I planted them last spring!
Got most of my annoying little jobs out of the way first thing this morning, so today shouldn't be too stressful. Just checked my payslip for Monday and I appear to have had another payrise! Not heard anything about getting a cost of living rise, and the amount I've got doesn't seem to fit on the salary scale anywhere so I dunno!
£97 in the bank, but I expect to spend a bit over the weekend with going out to night and to farmers market tomorrow, so just going to budget based on my wages.
So in Feb I have £1298.
Out rent £350, phone £15.. leaves £933.
Debt payments are currently £260.. I'm thinking of a £100 treats budget.. that leaves £573. So should put debt payments up.. but also have to book stuff like Eurostar and Paris hotel.. dunno what to do!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
OK, did some thinking..
Rent £350
Phone £15
Debts £320
Treats £100
----
Total £785
Leaves £513.
I'd like to roughly budget £100 for food, although we don't have a budget for this and tend to just take turns buying it.
So £400 left for my share of Eurostar/ hotel bookings/ whatever else comes up, and anything left at the end of the month can go into the poor plundered overdraft.
Phew!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
