  • It's really dull here! Got caught up in doing stuff and ended up not having time to head down there. Did get arrangements sorted out for arriving at the apartment in Paris so that's good. MUST get the tickets tomorrow though.

    Tra-la, theatre tickets, theatre tickets!

When are you off to Paris?
2023: the year I get to buy a car
  • I'm going for the tickets at lunchtime - it is sunny today too (so far)! We leave on Thursday morning :T

Things are a bit more relaxed at home now (though we still have to find out about fixing the window!).. spent last night looking at some info on Paris, tootling while Mr S made tea, finishing the first chapter of my new course (though I've still got some stuff on CD to do for the first week's work), then actually read a bit of a novel that I've had on the go since June!

Not feeling massively motivated for work today.. still waiting to hear if I've got an interview for other job.. but really, I want to be out in the sunshine!

Yep, I think my attention would be focussed on Paris, and how sunny it is at the moment! Sunny here too, tho cos its chilly there's a *lot* of contrails in the sky. Which is pretty in its own way!
2023: the year I get to buy a car
  • It was absolutely gorgeous out there - didn't want to come back in. Picked up tickets, got hair dye (I give up on growing it out to my natural colour, my natural colour is dull!), came back and finished off essay. So I have officially written about 11,000 words of philosophy this year (plus I dread to think how many in notes) :rotfl: Exam is in just under five weeks.. eek.

Forecast for Paris is rather lovely :)

  • Morning.. very dull and a bit soggy today. Still, it's Friday :T

Pretty lazy evening.. bit of a tootle, takeaway, collapsed on sofa.. yep that's about it!

Weekend should hopefully consist of picking up train tickets tomorrow and sorting out rest of Paris stuff, and then day at the farm on Sunday (going by the forecast that'll be a day in the mud!)

Yay for It being Friday! :T :T T: And nearly Paris, hooray!!
  • Yay.. hopefully this weekend we'll get time to figure out what we actually want to do when we're there. I mean, there will be the obvious sightseeing but there's just so much that some sort of plan is in order!

Amazingly have finished off a major bit of work today (in amongst all the online chat about carrot flutes and stuff :rotfl:) and have only got two main things I need to do before I go away.

Just treated myself to lovely lunch from the deli near work - have been much better with bringing lunches this month, this is only the second one I've bought! Money is still a little bit  though.
