I have a similar plan
(although with slightly less drudgery) Good luck!

TaYep it's very similar to your patchwork plan but aiming to be able to study more without working full-time at the same time, as well as just generally having more time for the nice things in life (whilst of course also looking for jobs that I want to do)... don't ask for much do we?

Don't ask for much at all! Perfectly reasonable if you ask me0

Where has the day gone? I've only had one cup of tea since I got here! Got a huge bit of work out of the way though and got a big chunk of essay written at lunchtime (more than halfway through :T) - might finish it tonight depending on how my brain is feeling! Once it's out of the way I can start on revision.. erm, hooray.. :rotfl:
Tootling tonight.. I must stop lusting over Bach quite so much and practice the less lovely but important study a bit...Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
One cup of tea and it was 4.30 when you posted that :eek::eek: my stomach would think my throat was cut, as we say
Enjoy the tootling! Actually, can't describe Bach as tootling - enjoy the wonderful atmospheric mellifluous music2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
One cup of tea?! Mind you, I've just had to refuse a cup of tea cos mouth is still so numb from my filling
When I feel sorry for myself all I want is cake, but that feels a little, er, inappropriate given the size of the hole in my tooth that's just been filled
Been playing scales this morning - I appear to be getting worse! :eek:0 -
Oh Cheery! It was that big
.... tea and sympathy, lots of ((((((((((()))))))))))))))

Oh dear to your teeth
With the scales, I always find if I'm really rubbish for a couple of days, then it suddenly comes together and sounds a lot better - partly I think you get better at hearing what you're doing wrong, then you can fix it
Eurgh.. got home yesterday to find that the attic window had broken in the wind (I'd shut it, or thought I had but it can't have been quite closed properly)... massive shards of glass all over the attic and the stairs, including one embedded about half an inch into a step  Luckily the cat must have been downstairs and had stayed out of the way of it all. So, had to clear up lots of glass.. it was just the outside pane so at least we could still shut it and not have a gale blowing through the house. I was quite upset cos it feels like it's my fault, Mr S is grumpy because of the hassle.. so not the best of evenings.
Today, got a meeting in a bit which will take up the rest of the morning, then some normal worky stuff. Think I can get essay more or less finished tonight.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Oh b***ggr!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek:
As you say, glad the cat's safe, but, thats pretty nasty! Remember it was an *accident*, tho, you didn't do it on purpose :grouphug:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Oh dear Squizz! Absolutely an accident and not your fault
(if it makes you feel better, I once left our enormous skylight over the bed open in a giant rainstorm. Not usually a problem, but this particular day the rain was angled in such a way that it rained solidly onto the bed for several hours before one of us went upstairs.
Bed is on a mezzanine floor thing, so we went into the bedroom to find water POURING through the mattress onto the bedroom floor    LOTS of fuss and bother, had to sleep in the attic for a month while it all dried out properly )
We don't talk about it any more
((((((((((((((((have a hug anyway))))))))))))))))0
