Oooh what bargains did you get as thinking of popping over there on Friday

We found all of the staff to be friendly and they were also used to putting the vouchers and the text codes through...so we had no problems at all, thankfully.
We got some items which were ultimately free (just used the code for something for £5) and also some items that we liked and put some money towards.
    We bought
6 packs of Panasonic batteries (40p spend)
2 packs of lovely chocs ( 1 per transaction..no spend)
1 pack of first words letters set (£1.50 spend)
2 packs of peppermint candy canes (50p spend)
1 ear phone splitter tu use with 2 sets of earphones (£1 spend)
    1 travel bag (99p spend)
    1 L'Occitaine hand cream (£2 spend)
1 lip gloss round tub set (no spend)
2 pairs of ladies boot socks (£3 spend)
1 pack of ladies knickers (£2 spend)
1 pack of very thick mens socks (£3 spend)
1 vodka shot set (£7 spend)
1 olive oil set (no spend)

Phew !!!! I think that was the lot.
Have fun looking for bargains. They have loads of stuff for a fiver, if you don't want to spend anything, but we got some nice xmas pressies just by adding a few quid. Lots of stuff on the top floor where the food gifts are.
When life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!
  • I used my only txt code yesterday and my email print off, the 2 different sa`s put the codes in but weren`t very sure about what they were doing, I had other print offs but didnt fancy chancing it once the code had been enterd but am very happy that i got 2 xmas pressies for the grand sum of £2
    I LOVE BETTY CROCKER
  • I have a voucher from the newspaper £5 off £25 spend, has anyone tried this one when spending less than £25?

Also, are there any more text/email vouchers left?
    Debt free
    2010 £11000/£9000
    2011 £509 so far

Well, it's up to you, you can choose not to use this method if you think it's complicated, but as I said, if you're good at photoshop, it'll only take 2 minutes, and would avoid the problem of text not being accepted by some stores. I could have made the instructions shorter, but just thought I shall make it very clear in case someone not very good at photoshop wants to try.

It's purely a personal choice really, and nothing to do with "china person", you can ignore my method if you think it's not useful, but please don't use some sort of personal attack. By the way, I wasn't registered before (although I've read some posts from here previously), but in order to post on the forum, I registered today, so I can share the method. I'm not after any personal gain by posting this after all, I spent time writing and posting it, because I've read some people's experience and they didn't seem to know what to do.

aren't you putting a newbie off posting?

I personally won't be using the method as I have no texts codes but can see how it may be helpful to others who don't want the hassle of having a text code refused...

Emails are no longer being issued but texts are still being sent. Both vouchers can be used until Friday 12th. HTH.
  • Thanks OP! Just used my voucher to buy some Lindt raindeers! Mmmmm..... :)
