Right, i'm back and only need to do my make up and pop a few hot nibbles into the oven about half an hour before people come. So i have about an hour to just relax. Lovely!

Morning all, hope everyone is bright and cheery today.

Money wise everything is ticking along nicely and Christmas wise i've got most of it sorted now. Just waiting for a few things i ordered online to turn upo and have to make a couple of bits to go in the hampers but other than that i am done!

So was feeling quite good when i got up, had a bit of a weird dream which i think is one of those that will stay at the back of my mind all day and keep popping up at strange moments, anyone else have those? The i text my two best mates to say fancy a coffee? or walk through the park? They are both single and don't work at the weekend, i haven't heard back from them. I know this is going to sound really stupid but i'm going to say it anyway...i feel like they don't want me around at the moment. Don't get me wrong i don't think they dislike me i just feel a bit forgotten. A bit of an after thought? It is the same friends who decided we were not doing presents this year, then announced they were going to go to London for the weekend...oh and you could come too? Then for the last couple of weekends they've been out together to town, for drinks and dancing. Two weeks ago they didn't invite me, fair enough i was working late and they knew that so i wasn't bothered, last weekend, Saturday night, they go out and don't invite me, then on Sunday when i popped round to one of their's for a cuppa she was telling me all about the great time they had. So it's not like they're trying to hide they've been out, they're just not asking me, then i go on Facepaperback this morning and there they are discussing yesterday what they are going to do , where to meet up and so forth.

Is it that i'm now boring and old and married and they think i'm no fun anymore? Sometimes i don't feel like much fun, i don't have brilliant self esteem, never have and i don't think i'm that attractive, i'm not drop dead gorgeous, but i know it's not the most important thing. I am a noce person, i am thoughtful and i though that was enough. Now i'm all upset over nothing...typical woman!

Well enough of all that, if they aren't going to get in touch then i'll just get on with my own things in the house. Just a bit annoyed, but know if i bring it up i'll sound stupid :)

Chin up, i know where you are coming from but also sometimes we have too much time to think and read into things. Im sure they dont mean to leave you out and if they do maybe they are not the friends you thought they were.

I have realised over the years my best friends are the ones who are there for you even if you havent spoken for weeks.

Well done on keeping the money in check thats really positive so close to christmas. Do you have your decorations up yet ?

Thanks HWG all decs are up, and most of shopping sorted. I know they are good friends i've known them for most of my life, i think i am just feeling a bit sorry for myself today. Well got to get on now, have done the dishes and sorted the bathroom, just need to hoover through and then sort out the menu for this week. I have quite a lot of food in, but don't know what to do with some of it! So off to check the old style board.

Hiya, well...got to take the car to the garage today, the battery is flat again and i think there must be something wrong, so it's either the battery or the alternator, hmm, i wonder whether it might be expensive:(

My friends have done it again, i rang one of them yesterday and asked her if she would like to come to my works do with me on Saturday (she worked at our shop for a short time over the summer when she wasn't teaching, got on really well with everyone and they all want her to come) so she says ' oh i'm not sure what i'm doing babe me and H are going out on Saturday with some of her other friends so i probably won't be able to' 'Oh ok' says me. But it's not ok, i'm actually quite upset about it all. I kust don't get why they don't ask me to go out with them ever. Even the other week when they went clothes shopping they didn't ask me to go. Feeling a bit rubbish about it all. I don't have a massive group of friends, i never have had, i just feel really left out.

Now the car needs sorting, and i've got to go over the budget again, check the envelopes, there's no real money for teh car to be fixed as i only started the envelopes thi month, but i'll take the bit of money i have with me and see where we go from there.

Hope everyone else is well and i'll be back on later with an update and a list of what i'm going to get done today.

Well i'm back and i'm £40 lighter :( oh well at least the car is sorted now. Keep smiling all, i don't have anything else to add today, i feel in a bit of a rut. There's no money to pay anything off the loans or credit card, and everything is now paid other than the groceries for the next couple of weeks.

See you all later, elle x

Good to hear the car is fixed and not too much money, at least it will be more reliable in the cold weather.
Have you thought about asking your friends why they dont invite you, do they know about your debt maybe they think you cant afford it and dont want to put you under pressure. I dont like confrontation but i also dont like worrying about things, hope things work out ok

Think it's a good idea to say you'd like to come along ..maybe gently prod rather than pick a fight..but yeah agree with HWG..you need to say something rather than worry..

What does OH say? Does he know them well?

Chin up...AND your cyber friends are here for you!!

Thanks Guys, my hubby says that i should just ask them why they aren't inviting me. To be honest i'm too much of a wimp, i hate confrontion and i don't think they are really doing it on purpose, probably just not thinking, i would feel silly asking them and don't want to upset anyone. Plus maybe i wouldn't like the answer, maybe i'm great to have a coffee with but not so great at going out on the pull with?
