Thank HWG, i'm really happy, can't wait for all the bills to be paid now so i can see how much we are left with. My calculations show it being enough but we'll see what happens as reality can be very different to my calcs sometimes!

Hope that we do it though, can't wait to be debt free and start saving for hte future rather than paying for the past!

    Thanks guys!

Don't know why but i bought a couple of tests yesterday, then did them this morning, both positive, then hubby went to work so i nipped out to Asda and bought a couple of the digital ones, did one of them and it says pregnant 2-3 weeks, but online i'm coming through as 4weeks and 5days gone. Haven't told hubby yet, i bought a cheap pair of babies frst booties at Asda and wrapped them up for him to open when he gets in from work!

I don't think he's expecting this news at all! So excited, and scared, and excited!

Morning all, well we have had an emotional couple of days, hubby was so excited about the baby, which is ownderful. But then our nan died last night, we were all there with her and we know that her spirit is now at peace with her husband. The weird thing is when we were discussing names we decded on using mine and his grandfathers names if it's a boy, and the pagan goddess names i love if it's a girl. Well last night, bearing in mond we only found out the day before that we were expecting, we felt a cold spot in the room, and i'm sure it was my hubbys grandfather, it was almost like he was saying it's all ok. Weird, and i haven't explained it very well, sorry. Feeling rubbish today, really achey and can't shift my headache, had to ring into work sick, which i now feel guilty about as i hate taking time off. But just feel washed out and so tired and bluegh!

We haven't told anyone yet, you guys are the only ones who i can talk to. I'm scared to tell anyone face to face until we've had the scans and know everything is ok. I'm hoping i can keep it a secret until then:) Should be ok i think, i'm good at keeping secrets when it matters!

Pretty sensible to keep it all to yourself until you feel you want to share as once you say it'll be around everyone in no time!

    How are you feeling?

Morning, i'm feeling ok, ben a bit tired in the evenings and having some stomach pains, but the doctor says they're nothing to worry about. Got my first appointment with the midwife on Tuesday 25th, and i'm not really sure what to expect, but i'm sure it will be fine. I'll be 8 weeks gone by then! Only bad thing is that my boss at work told me yesterday that although the regional managers have been informed of the new store structures, they are not passing on what they know until the start of February, this means that i still don't know if my job as safe, and if there are promotions available, whcih we think there will be, they won't be interviewd for until mid Feb, well i'll be approaching 12 weeks then, and don't want to lose out on the promotion i deserve because everyone finds out i'm pregnant. I'm most definately the best qualified and the best personality for the job we think is going to come up, so i'll be fuming if i don't get it.

Well, how are all you lovely ladies? Hope all regular readers are well and enjoying the new year!
