No it's not a sister company it's owned by CPW and they have been getting a lot of grief about major problems with mobiles.co.uk"
The CPW PO box handles various departments mail and this is the first time that it's been used for this
Ever the optimist, maybe as a result of belt tightening, the CPW group are centralising their cashback departments in one place. Certainly, if I was on their main board I would be looking at ways of cutting out duplication and looking for economies.
The much vaunted changes promised for decentralising cheque production, has that come about?0 -
It's all academic and there's nothing new under the sun. E2Save did exactly the same thing two years ago and caused similar worry and confusion. Ignore the usual smoke and mirrors; send to the address (IF sending by mail - I don't) which was in your particular t&c at the point of sale (and anyone who doesn't know precisely what those were - AND have a hard copy - really shouldn't be doing a cashback deal in the first place. Send the claim as soon as the bill arrives; normally you WILL get an email confirming receipt and then approval. If that doesn't happen you have plenty of time to send it again by a more effective method (again, I don't generally ever get that far).
Why people actually follow their lead and concern themselves with anything else is beyond me - that's playing their game instead of keeping your eye on the ball.0
