My husband an i used to do the very large steam and vintage rallies. We had to have insurance, and this was always checked, when we arrived to enter the field. We had a large stall, the insurance covered you in all ways, but esp if someone hurt themselves inside the stall. This never happened, but better safe than sorry.I think ours cost about £70.00 for 1 year. Hope this helps.

  • Hi,

I'm looking to start selling homemade spice mixes, rubs and other dry spice type goods at a local once a month deli market. The organizers have requested that every stall holder has public liability insurance, something I've not dealt with before. Can anyone recommend a good (for good read cheap...) insurer or site? Do i get it for a year at a time or on an event by event basis?

Thanks for any advice in advance ;)

Thanks for this LJM - have bookmarked this to look at properly later. May well be setting up a crafting business once I am made redundant at the end of this month, may do some teaching as well as selling what I make.....have lots to think about! :D
