Evening everyone
feeling a lot happier today. Weather has been not bad here. Took buttons out for a long walk through the forest the colours were wonderful.
Csarina - nice to hear your dh is now home, hope he continues to improve. Hope you too manage to get some rest.
Redruby - hope your dad improves at your local hosp, sending ((hugs)) to you all. Hope your mum manages to get some rest.
Bb - well done to your ds on
his full nights sleep
dazi - sending ((hugs))
Jc - good luck on your 2nd interview
Ds2 seemed happier tonight when he came in from school. I am still trying to arrange to see the senco of one of the local high schools, then I can make my decision, have managed to narrow it down to 2 schools at the moment. Been to craft club this morning, started making embroidered cards.
Os today has Been wm & dw on. Kitchen cleaned. Floors swept.
Enjoy the rest of your evening, hugs to anyone who needs/wants one. Take care.

Hello all,
Zippy....hope that you have had a lovely day
Cait....nice to see you here, absolutely convinced now that I won't buy a slow cooker!
Csarina....sleep well, you deserve it.....
Ruby...glad to hear that some solution has been found for your dad to recover, hopefully you and your mum will get some rest too.
JackieG....only a small one I presume....where did I get the notion that you are a veggie??
Bitsy....glad to hear that you are mending.
JackieO....you put me to shame with your busy life.
Aussie...nice to see you
Painter almost finished, to-morrow or Friday...he has done a good job, so will be happy to recommend him to others and have him back when I need more work done.
Steak, onions, carrots, celery with lovely floury spuds for dinner with the last of the Panetone for pudding, DD3 joined us which was nice.
Spoke to an ex work colleague this evening, haven't seen her for ages so was nice to catch up.
DS3 went and got 2 tons of turf (peat) this morning, so we are going to try it in the stove in kitchen and living room fire, as our bedroom is over the kitchen I am going to turn off the heating....we use an electric shower and a dishwasher, so no great need to burn oil when we are only ones here. OH was out for a while this afternoon(between showers) cutting up some of the huge branch which fell off tree at bottom of the garden at the weekend so we will have that to stretch the turf.
Hugs to all in need or want, speedy recovery to all feeling under the weather
