Hi Guys,
First off i do hope that Redruby and Dazi get some peace as regards their parents. I do know how you feel x
Oh well Im upset now. My good online and real-life friend Mooloo was coming to pay me a visit when her DGD was sick on the way over. I had to ask her not to stay as I have a compromised immunity at the moment and have been really poorly over the past couple of weeks. I helped out with towels and hot water (being a midwife never leaves you!) but felt so sorry and upset that I could not help more. Oh I HATE BEING ILL!!!!!!! There ive shouted it - sorry rant over. I was really looking forward to seeing them both too so my day is now duller and Mooloo's DGD really brightens my spirits as she is as bright as a button !
Anyway back to OS. I have a stew bubbling in the slow cooker, washing whirring in the WM and we are relatively tidy. The house needs a clean but my dear cleaner is due tomorrow so we will be spick and span.
Hugs xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Hi all,
Running late today, as I didn't get any sleep last night.:(
Happy Birthday Zippychick.
Csarina hoping all goes well for OH's return home.
Essex Girl hope you feel batter soon.
Dazi A Wolfy (((HUG))) for you.
Redruby hoping your dad is a bit better today; good idea putting his bed against the wall.
Molly (((HUGS))) oh, how disappointing. Mooloo will understand though, that you can't be around someone poorly (I'm the same myself, so I know what you mean). There'll be other times you can meet up.:o
Bitsy re poodles - I'm guessing the one you had dealings with was a Toy Poodle. They can be a bit yappy-snappy. Labradoodles, afaik, are descended from the much larger Standard Poodle.:o
This is Pip, who is a Miniature Poodle, and has been my house guest twice now.

She's a real sweetie, and very good regarding having her meds (two tablets + liquid medicine for arthritis and epilepsy), so y'see, not all poodles are the same.:o Hee hee, I just like to have an excuse to post about my beloved canines.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

He has had a small bowl of lentil soup and a cheese and tomato sarnie, is now in clean pj's in bed, his clothes are in the washer, might get them out for a bit of a blow, have used laundry bleach with the bio washing liquid so should kill off any nasties........the car smelt of hospital on the way home euuukkkkkk......left the windows open for a while before I put it away.
I lit the stove, its just puttering away.... am going to put my feet up for a while, might manage a snooze. promised to wake OH at 3.30 with a cuppa and some lemon drizzle cake, that gives me an hour or so to snooze.....Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -

wonderful news Csarina I bet your pleased to have him home again.I had a text from DGS Danny to say he likes Madrid and the hotel is OK, but they can't make bacon sarnies like his Gran can.He was fed up that the bacon was barely cooked this morning and cold. I do it well done with crispy bits at the edges.Still he's only there till next Tuesday and he says the hours are quite long. All good stuff for his CV though which is good . I have to pop out to pick his sister up from college shortly, but have managed to steer clear of the shops today ,but will need to go food shopping tomorrow.
Happy Birthday Zippy hope you get spoiled rotten.
I am just off to surf for some facts on Southend for my essay.
Cheers chums
