    Just realised, 3dogs must be speaking to Mr 3dogs on the phone.

    Nope, I spoke to him much earlier - about 7.30 pm and he was already in bed then - he is up very early tomorrow for the car boot - hope the weather stays dry for him :D

    am very tired, and need to get stuff ready for avon party monday, but think I am coming down with a cold. Knowing me will leave it all until tomorrow and then panic.

    Funny I only ever watch TV Saturday & Sunday....rest of the week I never even go into my lounge:eek::eek:

    There is an auction house about 18 miles from me so may go for a looksy.
    Certainly cant afford even a cheap new one.

    It certainly worth having a look Beanie - if you go on the morning of the sale, you can view first, before they start the actual auction. Otherwise, if you go the day before to view, you have the travelling costs and time twice over if you see something you like

    beanilou have you tried Freecycle and Freegle? Someone might be getting rid of an old one, even in good condition, may just cost you the price of collection.

    Great idea Aureol - place a wanted on Freegle Beanie it's worth a try - and with a throw over it, it won't matter too much about condition as long as it is clean
