I looked at ebay today. No more buying full price perfumes in high street shops. Rather proud of myself. Haven't bought anything either so it is a no spend day for me. May buy furniture tomorrow and have been invited to go to Westfield shopping centre next weekend. I will be v careful though and not go spending mad as i must remember that redundancies are due at work at the end of the year.

I might do. I am really silly though i do love 'escape to the country', buying houses overseas type progs etc and you only get those on the subscription channels. I watch them and often think they have more money than sense so it may be better to downsize. I dont know. I will try to watch it more. Maybe by spending less time on my 'puter. I do think i have been on here far too much recently.

Do you think your back will be better tomorrow Beanie if you have rested today?

  • Hi 3Dogs....thankyou for the update & I`m glad your Mum is able to sit & chat with you....she will enjoy that & I admire your ability to keep your chin up & support your Mum.:A:A

SW....glad that you rested all day....you seem to be working such long hours & need that rest time. This is your day off so the rest will have recharged your batteries.

Hi Everyone.....are we all watching Xfactor? I`m multitasking & ebaying at the same time. Have I missed the point of Wagner? He`s awful!!:eek::eek::eek:
  • My tv is downstairs. I shall watch the final though. I hope 3dogs' dongle is ok. This is her 2nd one and it is not as good as her first. How is the wallpapering going? I cannot believe you find the time to wallpaper with your stressful job. Gosh.

Just realised, 3dogs must be speaking to Mr 3dogs on the phone.

My back might ease off a wee bit.
    Usually lasts a few days.
I need to take two types of muscle relaxants instead of just one & other stuff.
Hopefully ok in the short term.

Lets hope so....One Direction seem quite good tonight though.

    Hope your back eases Hun.

SW - wallpapering is all done now thankfully.

Went a nice invigorating walk today on the edge of a `cliff` in Derbyshire....I watched the sunset & have decided not to try & cram so much into each day.

Whoops I lost my connection there - right, what was I going to say?

Beanie, have you tried hot and cold? 20 minutes freezer pack alternated with 20 minutes hot water bottle - Mr 3Dogs was advised to do this by a friend who is a top sports physio - worth a try?

At our local auction, a sofa bed fetches anything from £10 to £50 or even more, all depends on condition and what material it is made of, plus whether it has metal action - we got one earlier this year for about £12, metal action too

Yes, I am watching X-Factor - for the first time this year I think, though I may have watches one of the audition ones, and I agree about Wagner
