    I also made payments via HBOS visa debit and they have put a claim form in the post.
  • Thanks for all the advice on this site. Just received a chargeback from Abbey for full amount of just under £6000 which led to very happy customers and very relieved agent. Best of luck to others attempting this route and hopefully this may leave more in any pot to be re-imbursed to others who sadly did not qualify under this scheme of which I know a few.

    I'm so pleased (and slightly envious:o ) that people are being reimbursed by chargeback, I just wish I'd paid that way and not by direct debit!

    Another thing, was there anything more on watchdog last night? I missed it! The media about it seems to have gone quiet! :confused:

  • Can the peeps having chargeback problems not claim it under goods not received instead? That way, a letter is not needed from the administrators.

    I am new to the forum and I also lost £1100 in vouchers through farepak. I paid for these on their website through using switch card every month with Clydesdale bank. Can anyone advise wether I am able to claim back?

  • :j I love Abbey - all monies refunded to my account today (except one they have misssed that I am away to call them about). I am so pleased and now have more faith in my bank. I really hope everyone else has some positive outcomes from this - I am still pursuing Lloyds TSB.
