Oh Jacks, I actually snorted then! Thank goodness I'm home alone! (Hence the laptop with screen angled so I can't see the ironing pile which I swear is ACTUALLY whistling and waving to me ) Best go then :rotfl:.
:DHe always make me laugh - usually at my own expense the cheeky get!
I've spent all morning *not* hoovering the stairs. I think I'll blame it on the cat. He gets very demanding and needy when it's cold.
Give the ironing pile a hard stare my lovely - we can't have household chores getting all above themselves and attention seeking - we've got enough to do. :rotfl:Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -
I'm at home today and my regular delivery guy has just said to me:
"I hate to tell you this, but the 80s called and they want their eyeshadow back!"
:eek::o
But it's Ok.
We're having a girlie get together for Children In Need on Friday and we all have to go as our teenage selves.
I'm wearing an easy, off the shoulder "Flashdance" kind of outfit so I thought I'd better go all out on the make up front so as not to let the side down. (One of the girls is coming in roller boots and a ra ra skirt!:rotfl:)
This morning I've been having a bit of practise with bright blue eyeliner (well, eyeshadow used as liner.)
I think I must have got it spot on!
Now I've just got to decide whether to go for the frizzy eighties curls or the assymetric Human League look hairwise.:D:p
And whether to grab a cheap blue mascara for true 80s authenticity. :rotfl:

I have an IN today, a shower gel I've been sent to test, so my other gel is back in my stash with the new test one in use for at least the next 2 weeks. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Probably - somewhere. Teenagers are so much more sophisticated these days aren't they?
My daughter goes for a nude subtly enhanced look. I have vivid 80s flashback of bright blue eye make up, bright pink lip gloss and orange nails. (Not forgetting a classy "go faster" stripe of bronzer under each cheekbone)
Those were the days eh?Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -
I've had a job offer confirmed, and I'll be moving abroad! (Only to Europe, not very exotic, but still...
). So lots of packing and more decluttering to do!
Congrats on the new job offer fixx :T. Moving abroad sounds sooooo good.No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
Hmm, no idea what you did before. Your pot did build up impressively fast though from what I remember!
I'll have to take some inspiration from you and start decluttering more and ebaying stuff. Turns out all this decluttering of toiletries has been quite useful for another reason...

Ooooh congrats!!!!!!!!! :T Whereabouts?
Do start eBaying, I have been doing great - am going to keep going and try to sell as much stuff as possible. I need to make some extra cash to boost my deposit and also declutter to keep OH happy (he hates clutter lol). Well, it will make me happy too I guess.
I sold some retro biscuit tins today for more than I paid for them, very happy!
Right, will put in the RRP of an item, and £1 for a travel size - maybe 20p for a sample. So £3.59 into the pot for the Mega Shampoo (the whole set of 3 only cost me £3.17 on Amazon eekers!!!! Should have bought more). Off to update my sig.I'm at home today and my regular delivery guy has just said to me:

Will be moving to Switzerland - better start practising my languages!
It's very exciting, and also quite scary. :j:eek:
A really good exucse to have a proper clear out though - I have so much junk, no way can I take it all, or even need it all! Will start taking some photos tonight, and go listing crazy this weekend
And the cash will be useful for furnishing things on the other side! (Or exploring the city/country via it's lovely bars:beer: :A)
