  • Wow - nice boss Pickle! Mine is unlikely to be that generous, at least until more of my stash has gone.... (I am self-employed! :D)

I did get a couple of freebies with the Avon order yesterday - a "new rep's incentive pack" which included a full size Anew eye cream, plus trial size day & night creams, and also a full sized Anew night "emulsion" which seems to be like a cross between a cream and a serum - quite nice feeling though. I'll probably use the eye cream and at least one of the two minis as freebies or prize draw prizes for customers though.

forgive me people for i have sinned.... i bought a small tube of hemp handcream today. It was a dire need as i'm visiting the outlaws at the moment and the excema on my hands has just got so bad as i've not got access to all my hand potions. It's certainly helped me but i did feel bad about it. I've not tried it before but i think i'll certainly be using this again.

It's a QVC thing my lovely. It's their Today's Special Value item. Beauty ones are usually a good price for several products, but only if you'll use it all.

At this time of year I like to have the warm glow feeling of virtue for not buying the make up TSVs combined with the smug security of knowing that Hubby and Son have bought them for me for Christmas! I think Son has done the recent Smashbox one and Hubby will get the upcoming Mally one. Or maybe the other way around.

I know it's cheating, but I just love to try out all the new stuff that comes out, and have lots of options so that I can put on a whole different face every day. :)

I try and offset the badness by selling on eBay the things I've already got or already tried before and know that I won't use.

thanks for putting me out of my misery Jacks, I've never really watched QVC which is probably a good thing now that I know they do all these lovely deals - I'm enough of a danger to my wallet when I go out to the shops, goodness knows what the bank balance (and the stash) would be like if I'd known about QVC TSV!

couple of UU's to report : cussons powder, wiba, yes but unfortunately I have to uu a chanel no5 one first (I am genuinely not a fan)

olay 3pt serum - a freebie sample which was very pleasant to use and made a nice base for my foundation - won't be buying though as have a few other serums/creams/magic potions to get through first,

    happy pampering ladies, xx

    Ain't that the truth!!!

I have been sooo good ladies... resisted the Frontcover glitch (with difficulty - I mean £6 a set!!!) and today used up an Aussie Mega Shampoo (from the Aussie Amazon offer last year... it is still going!). So I am going to restart my toiletry savings pot - see sig. Do I put in the RRP or what I actually paid for it??? Can't remember how I used to do it.

I've also restarted eBaying... got to declutter and earn some extra dosh towards the house deposit! I have made £40 so far in just a week, must update my sig.

Hmm, no idea what you did before. Your pot did build up impressively fast though from what I remember!

I'll have to take some inspiration from you and start decluttering more and ebaying stuff. Turns out all this decluttering of toiletries has been quite useful for another reason...

I've had a job offer confirmed, and I'll be moving abroad! (Only to Europe, not very exotic, but still... :D). So lots of packing and more decluttering to do!

I'm at home today and my regular delivery guy has just said to me:

"I hate to tell you this, but the 80s called and they want their eyeshadow back!"
    :eek::o

    But it's Ok. :D

We're having a girlie get together for Children In Need on Friday and we all have to go as our teenage selves.

I'm wearing an easy, off the shoulder "Flashdance" kind of outfit so I thought I'd better go all out on the make up front so as not to let the side down. (One of the girls is coming in roller boots and a ra ra skirt!:rotfl:)

This morning I've been having a bit of practise with bright blue eyeliner (well, eyeshadow used as liner.)

I think I must have got it spot on!

Now I've just got to decide whether to go for the frizzy eighties curls or the assymetric Human League look hairwise. ;):D:p

And whether to grab a cheap blue mascara for true 80s authenticity. :rotfl:

Oh Jacks, I actually snorted then! Thank goodness I'm home alone! (Hence the laptop with screen angled so I can't see the ironing pile which I swear is ACTUALLY whistling and waving to me ) Best go then :rotfl:.
