1 UU to report
L'Occitane Verveine 500ml - WIBA? No - it was a present, don't really like l'Occitane to be honest and reason why this was not being used for years but this challenge got me to finish it
INS:
Dove Damage Therapy - 50 ml - Like Alton Towers, this is the freebie through the post
Garnier hand repair 100ml - Maybe finishing the old Clarins one was a bad idea; got a real problem with my hand skin now (dry and splits - nasty). Emergency stop at Boots on Saturday to find something so to stick to this challenge spirit, got it with my boots points.
Happy birthday PickleMFW on your mark0 -

Welcome newbies since my last post !!
two "In"s today - I bought two copies of Glamour mag for two different coloured nails inc varnishes - I opened the pale pink one this morning and Im really impressed with it - so far it has survived me doing the horses, packing and unpacking the shopping and it feels really smooth and nice on my nails, its not like anything Ive ever used before - just goes to show that sometimes things work !!!
Trudij, I used this nail varnish today for the first time as well and I agree this is a great product. I have never used a nail varnish that has been so easy to apply. I shall buy another copy of the magazine tomorrow to get the darker pink. Then I shall throw away some of my old nail varnishes. No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23

Well I have some UU's to report
Shampoo and conditioner samples from the hotel. Wouldn't buy them but would pick them up again if I was staying there, smelled lovely, and my hair is no drier or greasier than usual.
I also finished off the dregs of the Alberto Balsam Apple conditioner - I probably wouldn't buy this again unless I was needing to buy cheaper brands (I think I got it from Body Care for about 99p) it worked fine but I need to leave it on longer than I like to or the ends of my hair felt quite dry.
Body Shop Mango body scrub - WIBA, definitely, it had smaller scrubby bits than the previous one I was using so I felt like it did scrub rather than gather between my fingers, and I love the smell. But again it seemed to sit on my skin as a waxy like layer rather than sinking in to moisturise.
Still have one wash left in the hotel shower gel so will replace that and the conditioner tomorrow when I have a rummage in my stash. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I've had a flurry of UU's over the weekend. Tesco Vitamin E cleansing wipes. WIBA? Yes. These are cheap and do the job. The disappointing thing is that I've used up all my wipes so will have to get some more soon. I have managed to get this pack to last me ages as I've been using eyemakeup remover and face wash a lot more instead.
Champneys Moisture Miracle Skin Comforting Body Butter 50 ml. WIBA? Yes. I loved this, it smells lovely, is very moisturising and spreads well. I'm looking forward to using the other two varieties of body butter that came in the gift box.
Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E Concentrated Cream. WIBA? Yes. I used this on my feet as although I liked the smell (like cocoa powder) I thought the smell would be a bit overpowering applied to legs and arms. It's a thick moisturising cream, ideal for feet.
MaxFactor Masterpiece Mascara. WIBA? Yes. I'v been using this as my 'going out' mascara. I've loads of other mascaras to use yet but would consider buying this one again.0 -
morning all - finally have a few UUs to report after the weekend and still no IN - well except deodrant but that is for the health and safety of all around me!
UU: Botanics Firming body butter: WIBA? yes - I love it and it lasts really well
UU: Bumble and Buble Styling cream - WIBA? No - no better or worse than anything else, and too expensive to just be OK.
UU: Sactuary body scrub - WIBA? yup -love the stuff and isn't too harsh and lasts for ages.
Wow quiet a few, hopefully have one or two more by the end of the month but not a lot is on its last legs:(New surname New start!

Hi All –Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend. I did a reccy on my toiletries over the weekend. I mainly have a surplus of body lotions/gels/oils etc and hair products. Too many to list. My plan is to use these up smallest first so I can recycle the empty bottles and clear some space (and not refill it with excess toiletries). I did have to stock up on some bits this weekend – mouthwash, shower gel and hand soap but got all of these on special offer. My intention is not to spend any more money on toiletries for the rest of year unless anything absolutely essential crops up. Next year I plan to check what I need at the start of the month and only do one toiletries shop so I don't get distracted by special offers everytime I go in. At least that's the plan ... :-)0
