    happy birthday Pickle
  • Morning all!

First off: happy birthday Pickle! Hope you have a lovely day!
And thank you to Jacksxxx and Trudij - I get paid next week so I'll be trundling along to the beauty counters to use all your tips and pick up some extortionately priced but miraculous creams! :D I'm tragically excited - I'll be combining it with xmas shopping though so it won't be a totally self-indulgent day. :rotfl:

    Also, one UU for me:
La Roche Posay Nutritic sample: WIBA? This was my favourite RP moisturiser out of all the samples. It is for very dry skin and mine is more combination, but it sank in quite quickly and felt soft afterwards. However, I'm looking for something to deal with the redness in my skin, so probably won't be buying this. It has a very odd smell too - really reminds me of some sort of medicinal lotion so could be offputting to many people!

Lots and lots of splutterers atm: 2 conditioners, shampoo, face wash, cleanser, day moisturiser, hand cream, lip balm and toothpaste. There'll be a bumper post from me sometime soon... ;)

I got another set of perfume and moisturiser as well, which means that I will not be buying any toiletries for AGES considering that I've got to use up, plus the additions. Woo hoo! :D

Have you tried Clinique? Not far off the prices of La Roche stuff. They do an anti redness solutions one - perhaps try and get a sample. Or you could buy some nice clean travelling pots and blag some into their. Worth a go. Also have a stocktake of what cleanser you are using - I have now stopping using ones that are for combination skin or for spotty skin - too harsh. Now use Clarins (but only when this is an offer on).
